Our stay in the Marblehead apartment was perfect; it was being home away from home.
The apartment is cozy and comfortable with just the right decor. I highly recommend
a weekend or longer stay here. The town is walkable and the historic homes are
worth noting. It was the perfect getaway weekend vacation!!
Location in old town was perfect and walkable. The unit was exactly as pictured and described…and very iconically Marblehead. It was clean and had everything we needed. Had a little issue with the door code on arrival but Matt was immediately available to walk us through it and super friendly and helpful. Parking was available but we didn’t have a need for it.

Great suite, great stay
There really isnt a better location in Marblehead. Set in Marblehead's Old Town, steeped in history and charm. Steps from the harbor, and several of the most favorite local Marblehead Bar/Restaurants (Maddy's, The Landing, The Barnacle). Great sized unit for one or two people (separate BR, Kitchen and Living room). Modern amenities, despite being in an old/historic home. Host was very accessible and accommodating!

Nice, spacious apartment in lovely neighborhood
I liked this charming place a lot. It feels large for a 1 BR historic property. There’s lots of light, a built in desk, plenty of seating. It’s nice to be on the second floor for more privacy from the street. The neighborhood has restaurants and shops within walking distance but it’s not as densely packed as Bearskin Neck; it feels more residential and quiet. I could park for free down the street in the evenings or a couple of blocks away when this street was full, and this was fine for me, as were the narrow stairs with luggage, but anyone concerned about tripping hazards might prefer the downstairs unit. I slightly prefer this one for the light but they’re both great and decorated nicely. Castle Rock Park, a short drive away with easy parking, was stunning.

Perfect little place in a nice old town neighborhood for a short or longer stay. Host is super helpful and friendly. Thank you for the great accommodations as always!
Lovely space to venture to and from by foot. Comfortable, clean, and quiet space. Loved being in the heart of historic Marblehead with easy access to places of interest - Fort Sewell, beaches, shopping, history, cuisine and a short drive to Salem. Hope to return

Cute place to stay
This is a very cute and charming apartment. It was perfect for two people. It is about a 15 minute drive from Salem, which was ideal for us. We enjoyed hanging out here after returning home for the evening. The owners were very helpful and communicative. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, historic Sea Bird suite.
Perfect spot in central Old Town Marblehead from which to wander the crooked narrow alleyways, view all the historic homes and breath in the salt air. Every amenity nearby. Clean, charming, authentic.
Very convenient location. Bed was extremely comfortable. We appreciated the big thirsty towels in the bathroom, though the tub/shower would have been a challenge to enter/exit without the handlebars! The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the place!

History Alive!
Loved my stay. Almost felt like a sailor in the old part of town. I walked everywhere and swam every day. Capped the day off with dinner at local restaurants. A true vacation.
We recently stayed at Sandy Bay Suites in Marblehead. The apartment was great! Very comfortable to relax in with tasteful furnishings. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and checking out this wonderful town. So close to Salem and the Essex Scenic Byway. Would highly recommend! We loved our visit! The hosts were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Thank you!!
