There really isnt a better location in Marblehead. Set in Marblehead's Old Town, steeped in history and charm. Steps from the harbor, and several of the most favorite local Marblehead Bar/Restaurants (Maddy's, The Landing, The Barnacle). Great sized unit for one or two people (separate BR, Kitchen and Living room). Modern amenities, despite being in an old/historic home. Host was very accessible and accommodating!
Wonderful apt in old town Marblehead. Charming , clean, and wonderful host. Highly recommend if you’re new to town or grew up there and need a place to stay while visiting. Very lovely spot!

Lovely space to venture to and from by foot. Comfortable, clean, and quiet space. Loved being in the heart of historic Marblehead with easy access to places of interest - Fort Sewell, beaches, shopping, history, cuisine and a short drive to Salem. Hope to return

Perfect little place in a nice old town neighborhood for a short or longer stay. Host is super helpful and friendly. Thank you for the great accommodations as always!
The property was a quiet, great central location. Interesting places within walking distance and also a good spot to drive to some outlying locations.

Cute place to stay
This is a very cute and charming apartment. It was perfect for two people. It is about a 15 minute drive from Salem, which was ideal for us. We enjoyed hanging out here after returning home for the evening. The owners were very helpful and communicative. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, historic Sea Bird suite.
Perfect spot in central Old Town Marblehead from which to wander the crooked narrow alleyways, view all the historic homes and breath in the salt air. Every amenity nearby. Clean, charming, authentic.
Very convenient location. Bed was extremely comfortable. We appreciated the big thirsty towels in the bathroom, though the tub/shower would have been a challenge to enter/exit without the handlebars! The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the place!
We recently stayed at Sandy Bay Suites in Marblehead. The apartment was great! Very comfortable to relax in with tasteful furnishings. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and checking out this wonderful town. So close to Salem and the Essex Scenic Byway. Would highly recommend! We loved our visit! The hosts were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Thank you!!

Thanks for staying with us Bill. Sorry to hear your wife had challenged getting around. We make sure our photos accurately show the apartment and note it is on the 2nd floor. Sometimes these factors aren't cohesive for some people with mobility challenges. We have a 1st floor unit we could have offered you, perhaps next time.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway and it couldn’t have been more adorable. We actually left fiancés and this apartment was the perfect place to celebrate. Matt was nothing but helpful and very communicative with any questions we may have had. We would absolutely stay here again. 5 out of 5 stars across the board!

Perfect for solo adventures
This is my second (or third) time renting this property - I love it, and I will come back whenever possible. The Old Town location is fabulous, and it's a 2 minute walk to Fort Sewall and the harbor. It's perfect size for an individual or a couple. A couple of caveats for those who might struggle with mobility: The stairs (front or back) are quite steep. And, the bathtub, while charming (and with a grab bar) is a clawfoot soaking tub, which requires the ability to climb in and out. Finally, the hosts are wonderful and extremely responsive.
