The perfect getaway to Northern Maine. Whether you are looking to hike, swim, white-water raft, or some peaceful down time, you can do that here and more. The property is located on Wyman Lake, a peaceful hidden gem that is a short drive to several scenic Maine locations. Very private, but also very accessible, you will have the whole cove to yourselves. This is also at the heart of maine ATV riding and snowmobiling. This is the ultimate staging area for any adventure you have in mind!

We enjoy most of our stay. Cabin was clean and comfortable, has everything you need. Lake was fantastic, we loved taking the canoe out, so peaceful on the water! Exploring the area was another favorite of ours.Our only complaint would have to be the road, the tractor trailer trucks were quite obnoxious.

My husband, myself and our two kids had such an excellent stay! It was so awesome even the family dog didn’t want to leave to go home! Well appointed with the perfect amount of comfortable seating and literally everything any guest could possibly need during their stay has been considered here. I especially felt nostalgic over the VHS collection! The kids and husband couldn’t get over the N64 gaming system. The water down behind the house was crystal clear and fish were constantly jumping…we enjoyed floaties and paddle boarding in the quiet private cove. A very serene water space is all ours to enjoy whilst the rest of Wyman Lake can sometimes be rougher waters. Glad I packed a build ur own birdhouse kit to hang on the Million Dollar Bird House Wall just up the road it was an excellent activity to tie us to the place for years to come! My only hope is that this rental will be available on future dates so we can stay again!

We had an outstanding vacation at Maria’s camp. Sitting on the dock with the view of the mountains surrounding the lake was special. Everyone in the family was able to enjoy something at the property. The boys were either fishing( oldest claims to have caught 60 Amalie’s during the week) or swimming. Make sure you take the trip to Moxie falls to take in the swimming hole. Everything about the facilities were first rate. The camp had everything we needed and check in was seamless. Maria was quick to respond to any inquiries we might have had. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

August Fieldwork

My crew and I stayed at the camp for ten days of field science fieldwork in August. There were six of us in our group and everything was great and everyone was comfortable. The location was perfect and the views of the lake in the evening were spectacular. The kitchen was well appointed and well suited to preparing meals for a group of our size. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the upper Kennebec Valley.

Loved the lake!

Gorgeous and quiet lake surrounded by Forrest. Just beautiful. Lovely, comfortable and well stocked house. Only problem with it is the house is on a busy road and you can hear the trucks from the road and at the lake. Otherwise it was paradise

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay! The house was the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. The house was immaculate and very up to date. Shower was fantastic as was the water pressure. New appliances and bathroom. The lake is a short walk and well worth it to hang out on the dock. We took the kayak out and had a blast. Very pretty views and a beautiful lake. We chose this location because it is close to the White Water rafting. We hiked Houston Falls and Moxie also. Had great meals at Hawks Nest and Inn by the River. The only thing that I would note is the house is close to road and can be noisy . Most of the houses in this location are close to the road. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!
