Old Town Cottage: Nestled on a forested hillside on the edge of Hill City

We offer guests to be able to check in and check out without any person to person contact if you call us with the information needed to adhere to State lodging and Real Estate law. (Not all of your information is shared with us by VRBO).

Old Town Cottage, bordered by the Black Hills National Forest, is a cottage situated well above the Historic 1880 Train Depot and within walking distance to downtown Hill City, the Mickelson Trail, Spring Creek and Major Lake for trout fishing. Surrounded by tall pines, guests experience 'the feel of the forest with the convenience to the village'.

Old Town Cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The bedrooms have solid wood flooring. We provide a folding single cot suitable for a child (under 90#). There is one bathroom with a tub and shower. The living room is furnished with a sofa with recliners, and a separate chair/recliner. Cable TV, AC unit in the living room. There is a fully furnished kitchen. A laundry pair is provided to ease your packing needs. (Guests furnish their own personal laundry soap.)
The cottage has a gas fire pit for "campfire" evening enjoyment. It also has a gas cooking grill, Guests can enjoy watching deer and turkey on the wooded lot behind the cottage!
The double car garage is available for our guests use.
Total square feet: 900 sq. ft.
NO PETS, NO SMOKING.

This property is located contingent to our personal home property and by buying it, we were able to protect our home land property from developers who would sub divide in to small tracts and lots of houses. We have preserved the forest within a town!
