Host were great and easy to communicate with. The place has a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice! A lot of space to do a ton of activities. Had a few small issues, heat upstairs wasn’t fully working, small leak on the ceiling of one room and the tower room window wouldn’t close so had lots of insects in the room. Other than those, overall it was a nice stay.

Beautiful place and huge! Kids played hide and seek all week. Big kids too! There were a few hiccups and issues, but all were addressed timely and appropriately. Very reasonable and responsive host!

We stayed here for our family Christmas, and it truly felt like a warm, inviting space for our large family. The house has a beautifully open and cozy atmosphere that made us feel at home. Its architecture is stunning, and the home was clean and well-stocked, making our stay comfortable. The owner was incredibly prompt, attentive, and kind, always ready to assist us with a friendly, helpful attitude. We look forward to coming back!

This is a large and uniquely-laid out property. It is in dire need of repair, however. The front porch and steps are worn and wood boards are split. The home and surrounding outdoor areas were actually filthy. The windows, oven, grill, lounge chairs, pool, hot tub cover ~ all need replacement and/or deep cleaning. The host was responsive and apologetic but I immediately requested another property for our stay. Unfortunately, nothing was available. I regret that I made this property our family vacation rental for 4 nights. I would not recommend.

Hi Kathleen, thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry the stay fell short. For context for future guests: you arrived before check-in while our cleaners were finishing, and at your request they stayed two extra hours to address everything you flagged. We also ordered replacement cushions right away, and there is no split wood on the front porch. On the hot tub — we have photos showing it was clean just before your check-in. When you reported it as dirty the next day, a technician was on-site within 1.5 hours to drain and refill it. Our team reached out multiple times during your stay to offer further help. We also offered a refund of your cleaning fee plus $500 as goodwill. We never heard back or received any further requests. We take upkeep seriously and always want the chance to resolve issues in real time — we hope future guests will reach out so we can do just that.
