You truly are a Lucky Duck, if you get to vacation in this beautiful Carillon Beach home. This classic Carillon home is strategically situated in a perfect location in the heart of Carillon---on Lake Carillon and directly across the street from the Beach Club Pool and the Gulf. The home features three king bedrooms, one on the first floor, an oversized master BR (with private balcony) on the second floor and day bed/trundle in the 3rd floor tower. Take in stunning views from the expansive porches on all three floors of this lovely home. Enjoy a nap, some quiet conversation or read a book on a screened in porch at the rear of the home, overlooking Lake Carillon. It's almost like being on the gulf without paying gulf-front prices.

*Two sets of beach chairs (4 loungers), pads and umbrellas are provided daily (March 1 - Oct 31) by the main Gulf pool walkover. Beach towels are provided in the home for our guests.

THE LUCKY DUCK is located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED OR COMMITTED UNTIL SPEAKING WITH THE MGR. PERSONALLY TO ASSURE THAT THIS IS THE RIGHT HOME FOR YOU.

PARKING POLICY: 3 vehicles and 1 golf cart. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the gravel area to be parked at any time in front of (or in the case of a corner lot on the side of) a home, in the HOA Gravel. NO Golf Cart Charging of a cart that is parked on any HOA Gravel area. Charging must take place in the driveway of a home it is identified with.

GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $42.50/vehicle parking fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

This is a family vacation home. WE DO NOT RENT TO VACATIONING GROUPS OF UNSUPERVISED STUDENTS OR THOSE UNDER 30.

A Perfect Stay

The Lucky Duck was just what we were looking for during our stay at Carillon Beach. The property was spacious, with plenty of room, and then some, for the 6 people staying there, and amenities were exactly what we were looking for. We were a very short walk to the pool and beach and the chairs and umbrellas that came with the stay were super convenient. We will plan to stay here again!

The Lucky Duck is a lovely home, big and spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, with the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! Our teens loved the third floor space and adults loved the spacious bedrooms and back porches facing the lake. Beach access and pool is a2 minutes away.

Great Location

The location and view is perfect! We loved the community, amenities and 2 sets of chairs! The home is spacious, comfortable and fully stocked. Having 3 king sized beds was great! The home is in need of a few updates. Overall it was clean, but musty, and the open cabinets need to be dusted before each guest arrives and that did not happen.

Lucky Duck Wins

Our family's favorite place is Carillon. We've stayed in many homes, but Lucky Duck is definitely the big winner! We loved the LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Watching the sunrise over the lake, having some beach views, being so close to the beach pool...truly in the heart of Carillon. The home was large and beautifully decorated. We would choose it again!

Carillon Beach Rentals really has their act together and presents a carefully curated collection of homes and this one is a great example of how to do it right. We’ve had so many sub-par experiences that we thought the overall quality level had diminished but not in Carillon and not at all the case with Carillon Beach Rentals. This was truly a “must and shall return” for us. Every detail was taken - kitchen fully equipped and labeled, spotlessly clean, beds high quality and very comfortable thus avoiding the “miss my bed” syndrome. We highly recommend Carillon Beach Rentals and The Lucky Duck for a premier experience all around.

We've vacationed other places, and this just feels like home to us. The Lucky Duck is probably the nicest place we have stayed in thus far. The house was big enough for our adult kids and younger kids to spread out and have their own spaces. I don't even think we used all of the porches!!! But the side porch with all the sitting chairs was definitely a fan favorite. Our friends rented a different house, but they have an avid fisherman in their family and he was able to fish in the lake right behind us. The weather didn't always cooperate with us this year, but it didn't stop us from having a wonderful and memorable time regardless. Karen was great to deal with, and I would never hesitate to rent from them again.

There is a ton of outdoor living that we enjoyed every day. We loved backing up to the lake and it's a very short walk to the beach. You can see the ocean from the second and third floors. The house is right in the middle of everything and a very short walk to the downtown Carillon area. This was the best-stocked vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. The house was very clean, had nice linens and new bath towels. The beach towels that were provided were also a great bonus. The house included 4 chair rentals in a great location on the beach. Karen was very quick to respond and help us with an issue that was not directly related to the rental. I give this house 5 stars and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your house with us! We hope to be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was spectacular! Thee floor plan was especially good for our family demographic. We stayed in the downstairs guest room and our daughter, son in law and their 2 children shared the 2nd and 3rd floors. The amenities are top notch (vitamin blender, commercial washer and dryer, abundant cookware and serving pieces, and Keurig coffee machine). Being former landlords, we were sad to see how other families treated this lovely home. Cabinets were gauged and nicked and banisters were scratched. I can only speak for the first floor level, but the lamp bases in the living room and guest bedroom were covered in dust. The 1st floor bathroom shower had not been cleaned of the mold and/or mildew on the floor. The electrical outlet in the 1st floor bathroom as well as in the 2nd floor bathroom directly above the 1st floor bathroom did not work. It wasn't a big issue, but it was inconvenient to blow dry your hair in the bedroom without a mirror. We loved the fireplace!! And, since the weather was so cold, we used it almost every day.

The view of the lake from the kitchen and family room was a nice surprise I wasn’t expecting. We loved the incredibly short walk to the beach pool and our beach chairs. And that top balcony had such a great view of the ocean. We loved the location of this home. We could walk to the playground and basketball court and the other pool pretty easily. We also walked to get pizza one night and ice cream and walked to the Panama City Coffee shop ( wonderful, high quality coffee) several times. We hope to be able to come back and stay at The Lucky Duck again!
