Forget your worries in this spacious and serene 3 bedroom 2.5 bath getaway near the waterfront of Bells Beach. Savor the panoramic views of the Saratoga Passage from the comfort of your large, covered and heated deck. Evenings are for stargazing in your private hot tub. Our Bells Beach home is a short drive to nearby shops, restaurants, galleries, and off-leash dog parks. Our home includes beach access, a fenced area of grass, and a fenced deck for your dog. ADA accessible. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM & 8:00 AM.

It’s very much about island life and the natural world here. Guests come to walk the beaches, explore the tidepools, and hike the trails. People also watch for local wildlife, such as eagles and herons, as well as grey and orca whales. Our tall Evergreens are a perennial draw. Other nearby activities and attractions include the nearby off-leash dog parks, wineries, beaches, boat launches, and marinas. We’re close to the artistic town of Langley with restaurants, galleries, shops, and easy access to the waterfront.

I have a dream team of folks who move garbage cans, maintain the garden, and maintain the hot tub. I can support remotely and if any solutions require a person on site, someone from the team on Whidbey Island will be available.

Bells Beach is a very quiet neighborhood and just a five minute drive to the town of Langley. There are common sightings of eagles, herons, porpoises, and whales.
Although Bells Beach Lookout is not officially classified as ADA-compliant, modifications were made to the home to allow for wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters. Guests can enjoy a stairless entry using the carport parking and 36" wide hallways, entrances, and openings to rooms. There is parking behind the house in the two-car-covered carport which is flat, has motion detector lights, and is plenty wide enough for a van and another ten feet of room. Guests who require a 36" wide entry can use the glass gate from the carport, and follow the wide deck to the front of the house. To enter the house, guests enter through the glass door on the front deck which is 36" wide and has a ramp on either side - accessible for wheels and walkers. The main King Bedroom and the bathroom include a large curb-less shower with handrails, grab bars, a wide entry, a 6-foot nozzle, a shower stool, and a sink vanity with clearance for a wheelchair. The main bedroom has a clearance of 36" around the bed and to the bathroom.

The perfect place to stay

My three sons and I stayed here for three nights. We were on a trip that started in San Diego and we ended up here. This by far was the nicest place we stayed at. Serene Getaway

Ease of Mobility

A vacation home that has the ease of mobility is very difficult to find. Bellbeach Outlook is very accommodating for those with mobility problems, very wheelchair, walker accessible. Whidbey Island is a great island to explore from the south all the way to Deception Pass State Park. There are small towns or communities to discover. Everything that you need is provided. Lovely island home

We loved our stay here and would like to return again. The house was attractive, clean, comfortable, well-supplied, and in a beautiful and quiet location. The owner was very helpful and quickly responsive to questions. Sitting on the front deck was so relaxing. We even got to see and hear a rare over-summering gray whale from the deck one morning during a high tide. That was a real vacation highlight. We were sorry to have to leave.

Perfect girls weekend!

Our little group of 4 had such a wonderful time staying at Belles Beach! The location is beautiful and just as described. The Photos of the house don't do it justice....it's more adorable in person. The store was close, nothing out of reach, but this little neighborhood is anything but busy. And communicating with the owner was the easiest I've had! quick, clear, and so helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay and helping make our weekend amazing!

Serene Escape

This well-appointed home is set along the quiet and picturesque shores of Bells Beach. Nature abounds with old-growth evergreens and sightings of the glorious Pacific Northwest locals, eagles and orcas and bunnies, oh my! The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped. The beds are quality and so comfortable. The interior design is welcoming. The property is fully fenced and kept our bulldog in check. There are convenient hoses to rinse any sandy feet/paws. All of your tech needs will be met with full wi-fi and SmartTVs allowing you access to local channels or use of your own streaming services. You are not more than a 5-minute drive from all of the charming shops and restaurants the island has to offer. But we spent most of our time on the spacious deck hypnotized by the natural beauty and enjoying the peace and quiet! Very satisfied with our stay!

Bells Beach Outlook

This property is in a perfect setting on Whidbey Island. The neighborhood is quiet, the views are outstanding, and the island is complete with charming residents. The house floorplan is perfect for two couples or more with the downstairs daylight bedroom and sitting area. Each of the two bedrooms have a private bath. The beds are very comfortable, and the linens are top quality. The kitchen and living area are open concept with dining and seating areas that fit six comfortably. The covered viewing deck was designed with a large tempered glass wall that protects from prevailing winds and a ceiling heater bar for added warmth. We were able to enjoy coffee and dinner on the deck regardless of the breeze and rain. Situated on the Saratoga Passage the water view is beautiful and the beach is accessible, especially during the low tide. The property owner is very responsive and provided some great ideas for day outings on Whidbey Island. The property is as shown in the pictures; it is clean and accessible for folks who might have mobility challenges. We truly appreciated having opportunity to stay at Bells Beach and visit Whidbey Island.

What a wonderful home to stay in. We have rented many homes, and this is in our top two for cleanliness, location and owner communication. The heated deck was a plus, as well as the ease to reach everything we wanted to do on the island. There is hiking only minutes away and access to either ferry is easy and convenient. We would definitely stay here again....in fact, we are hoping to make this a yearly stay. Thank you for allowing travelers to enjoy this lovely property.

Great for all Folks

There aren't too many rental that are ADA friendly in the Puget Sound area. This i the one of the very best. For a family of 6 adults, the home filled every need. A large kitchen where 3 daughters prepared meals. Very good for wheelchairs or walkers. If good health is maintain, we will be back. The weather was perfect - not too hot, not to cool.

An absolutely incredible stay!

My husband and I stayed here with my mom and one of our close friends. My mom is very picky about bnb’s and this one exceeded her expectations! Everything was updated, clean, and the added amenities were awesome. The added touch of leaving hygiene products in the bathroom and extra coffee and snacks in the kitchen was so generous and not often found elsewhere. Gorgeous views of the bay and can’t forget how awesome the hot tub is! Thank you so much for letting us stay in this amazing home, we will be back!

Everything we wanted and more!

My husband's family was visiting from Iowa and Boston for my MIL's 75th birthday. The host was so nice and quick to answer all my questions. We are so happy we chose Bells Beach! They brought their 16 year old dog who loved the beach and hanging out on the deck. We love how cozy the house was. The house was even better than I was expecting, they thought of everything! The kitchen had every tool we needed, the bathrooms were supplied with backup toiletries in case you forgot something and there were plenty of games and books. We loved the telescope and binoculars so we watch the orcas. All in all, this was the best home rental we have every had and hope to be able to come back.

Water and Mountains

The home was a perfect place for our family to stay as we gathered for a friend's wedding on the island. The quiet neighborhood was perfect for our adult children as they worked remotely during the day. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck to enjoy views of the water and mountains, as well as the moon rising. It was a perfect home base to return to after all the wedding activities. Fabulous

This is our summer home away from the Arizona heat! We’ve spent a few weeks here for the last three summers and will be back next year. This is a beautiful home in a tranquil setting with amazing views. The house is spotless on arrival with a kitchen that has more amenities than mine at home! The beds are all comfortable and the hot tub is delightful! It’s a short drive to Langley and the farmer’s market and incredible beaches and hiking. The host is wonderful with excellent communication. It’s simply a delightful place!

Perfect house for us

Vanessa went beyond expectations to accommodate my husband's limited mobility. Bells Beach Overlook is beautifully situated to enjoy Saratoga Sound's activity and the mountains beyond. Furnishings and supplies are exceptional - even down to a "did you forget something" box with toothbrush, etc. no need to buy spices or cooking oils; coffee and tea are provided. We enjoyed the cool days on the deck thanks to overhead heating. Quick drive to charming Langely for shops and restaurants and to Freeland for groceries. You won't be disappointed.

Hello, and thank you for looking at our home, Bells Beach Lookout! My name is Vanessa, my husband is Eric, and our German shepherd mix fur-child is Happy.

I grew up in Washington and Eric grew up in Michigan and Wyoming. We bonded over our love of the natural world and love spending time by the water and near tall trees.
We hope you find as much peace and serenity at Bells Beach Lookout as we do.

Why they chose this property

This area is our favorite place of all and we were so thrilled and humbled to have been able to purchase this property last year. We spent the last months renovating and getting ready for our guests and trying to think of everything they might need for a great stay. We welcome all comments and suggestions!

What makes this property unique

There’s nothing we love more than being outside, whether that’s wandering the beaches looking for perfect shells, exploring the waterways in our kayaks, or hiking a trail with Happy.
