This property is in the best location to walk to the beach club. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. The Big Canoe neighborhood is wonderful with two pools, the lake and rock slide, a playground, and excellent restaurant. The only thing that I would recommend is better skillets for cooking.

Thank you for the five-star review! Glad you enjoyed your stay at Lake's Edge Lodge and the easy walk to the beach club — and that you got to enjoy the pools, lake, rock slide, playground, and restaurant in Big Canoe. We appreciate the note about the skillets and will check the cookware with housekeeping to make improvements. We’d love to host you again.

Excellent Stay!

Very nice - enjoyed deck on nice fall days/eves. Worked very well for our group. Kitchen cooking devices and utensils could be better - bit of a mixed bag.

Best week at the lake!

My family and I had a wonderful week at this beautiful home in Big Canoe. The location can’t be beat if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach club. We were able to walk right down to the beach for a day at the lake and the pool. I was also excited to find that the house is right on some of the hiking trails so no driving necessary. My husband enjoyed a few days of golf and loved the golf course. We had a great dinner at the clubhouse with a beautiful view of the lake. The house was spacious for our family of 6 and had everything we needed. We would love to rent here again in the future!

The home was infested with ants and the property management company never sent anyone out even though we called them multiple times during our stay. In addition the AC wasn’t working.

We want to sincerely express our apologies for the frustrating experience you had during your stay. We can only imagine how stressful it must have been to deal with ants in your home, and we are truly sorry someone did not come out as quickly as they should have. We also regret that you faced issues with the air conditioning. We understand how uncomfortable that must have made your stay, and we are sorry we weren’t aware of it sooner. Please know that both of these concerns are very important to us, and we’ve already taken steps to ensure they are resolved permanently. It truly saddens us to hear that your experience fell short of your expectations, as our goal is to make every guest feel comfortable and cared for. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and once again, we are deeply sorry for the difficulties you encountered. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the chance to make it right in the future.
