Modern Chalet with Fireplace - close to Higgins Lake!

Surround yourself with style in this standout space. Designed for a modern, outdoor enthusiast who likes to hike, swim, fish, but also wants to come home to something fresher than knotty pine and plaid.

The house is situated perfectly for both summer and winter activities. With the Cross Country ski headquarters just a few blocks away, and Higgins lake public access a quick 7 minute drive there are endless opportunities for fun!

Hanging: The house features a large main room with eighteen foot lofted ceilings and and open floorplan with lots of windows and light. Clean, modern décor and a wood burning fireplace provide a bright, but cozy space to cook, hang out or play games.

Sleeping: The master bedroom has a Queen bed and large closet, with a window overlooking the backyard. The loft has two queen beds and small sitting area which serves as the other bedroom.

Outdoors: The large yard is fenced and completed with bistro lights, Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, and picnic table to enjoy the outdoors. We also provide a few yard games and charcoal grill.

Cooking: The kitchen is fully furnished with all necessary cooking supplies, utensils, olive oil, spices, etc. We also provide coffee and tea.

Very nice & cozy! We felt at home the two days we were there . The bed was very comfortable as well. We could have used an extra towel for hair washing. All on all everything else was great!

A nice nice property! Clean fully stocked and comfy beds. It was located near but not to close to the lake where it gets crowded so thats a plus! The state park was close and the Dollar General was in walking distance. Its quiet peaceful and overall a very nice place. Washer amd dryer is a mist have for the lake which helped a great deal! We will def book this house again! Recommenda couple of things that would make this house stand out even more: update to include a Keurig and air fryer! That would be awesome! Some lake floaties /toys wagon, rolling cooler beach chairs.We always bring those items and it would be amazing if those items are already on hand! Thanks! :)

A Great Find in the Roscommon Area

The house was excellent...far above what would be true if staying in an older cabin or dated motel. The owner was communicative, and the instructions for check in, check out, and how to manage the stay were clear. The access to state parks and major roads/freeways was key to us, and the site served as a great central point from which we made day trips.

Holiday getaway

Home was exactly as posted. Stocked kitchen with everything needed. Beds were super comfortable and space was decorated nicely. It felt like home. Host responded to inquiries quickly and was very friendly. Great location for summer getaway, close to lake Higgins.
