Updated! New fire pit, new private dock and your very own fishing boat! Last minute welcome! Pets considered (ask owner)
"Life, as it should be" is the state of Maine's motto and we are very serious about it. Sabattus Shalomus is just the right size for the family, it fresh, comfortable, and cozy. Here is what you can do here:
-- Fish, kayak, swim from your front yard
-- Go on a hike, forage mushrooms and blueberries
-- Sail (public ramp 1 mile away, bring your boat, you can moor at the dock, open water right from the shore, and oh boy the wind is just right here.
-- Icefish or rent a snowmobile and drive on the lake
-- Visit dozens of nearby attractions, 10-20 min away
-- Explore Maine Coast (30 min drive)
-- Spend a day in the hipster capital of New England, Portland ME.
OR, if you are up to longer trips:
-- Have a day trip and visit Acadia, the White Mountains, Boston (2,5 hours)
-- Brush up your French and spend a weekend in Montreal or Quebec (less than 5 hours, don't forget your passport)
OR, here is an idea: you can do nothing:
-- chill on the porch, cook, eat, enjoy the lake view
-- park on the couch, do nothing and watch Netflix on a large smart TV
OR, finally, if you need to, well...
-- you just continue to work, we have workplaces and fast, free wifi.
-- Meanwhile, kids will have their own little play space
-- Your loved ones will have plenty of fun things to do
-- It will be just like home, but with the lake, boat, National parks, blueberries, and mushrooms.
Enjoy!
