Enjoy Our Beautiful Log Home

Joanie's is an authentic log home. It sits on a large lot, surrounded by majestic pines. We are one block from downtown in the old fashioned town of Mc Cloud. The Great Room is highlighted by a stone fireplace. You can retire to one of our 5 spacious bedrooms. The Oak Room is named for its fine oak antiques, includes a full bath and king size bed. The Pine Room has rustic pine decor with an open full bath and queen bed. The Wicker Room has a bright and cheery feel with a half bath and queen bed. The Cedar Room is a quaint and cozy loft room, includes an in room sink and queen bed. The 49er room is a fun loft room that sports fans will appreciate, includes a full private bath and a queen bed and a trundle bed. There is an additional full bath and washer/dryer available downstairs.
Our kitchen area is fully stocked with anything you might need. We welcome you to our home and are confident you will enjoy your stay!

The cabin was ideal for our group of seven adults as it provided enough space and everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location was perfect for visits to Mt. Shasta and nearby lakes and falls. Communication with the host was excellent!

All conditions and home layout is excellent for our group of fishermen coming to McCloud for 39 years. Owner and facility fit very nicely for a great experience. All the home features of fireplace, living room area connected open to dining and kitchen make for a nice warm group relaxing and visiting. Location and parking is excellent too. We will continue to book this location...

The hosts were very responsive from the time we first inquired about the property all the way through our stay. We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay at their log cabin with five bedrooms and good communal space. Lots of kitchen gear so we were able to do all of the cooking that we wanted to do. It was an easy, short walk to town. Perfect for us.

Our women’s group have been staying at this beautiful log cabin annually for years now. Recently, two downtown bathrooms were remodeled and are wonderful! When needed, the communication between owners and guests is very much appreciated. We truly appreciate your beautiful home away from home.

We are a group of women who stayed here with a dog and an 18 month toddler (grand daughter). The house is perfect! We were comfortable and found every kitchen item we needed for dinners. Some of us have slowed down with age and the area affords incredible outdoor opportunities for all abilities. We loved the three McCloud falls.

We had a family reunion of sorts visiting family and enjoying The Mushroom Festival just a short walk away. So very convenient. Not to mention the hikes to the McCloud Waterfalls. The big beautiful log house was very nice with lots of interesting architecture, art and light fixtures. Wish we had been notified about the deck damage. However, we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful family home to stay in. Lots of space to share with our family of 7 adults. 2 bathrooms were a bit unusual. One shower too small for adult to use. We were able to share the larger ones! Great kitchen with plenty of kitchenware. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the fireplace and had plenty of wood. Nice yard and large deck - part of the deck is in process of being replaced. Host was very quick responding. We definitely recommend this place for family gatherings.

What you see is what you get. This is a beautiful, large home with toilets all over the place. Every bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. We are a group of eight women who enjoyed cooking and eating together, playing games in the spacious living room, doing an art activity on the back deck and seeing the gorgeous local sights. Our hosts were very responsive when we needed something and even left lovely tulips for us to enjoy.
