The place was clean and cozy! It had a nice view and was very secluded. I took off a star bc the driveway was rough, and we almost got stuck in the mud lol.

I’m so thankful for my stay in this beautiful and peaceful home. I felt all the stress melt off of me and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and I was able to make soup and grilled cheese, which was comforting on an autumn night. The front porch was a delight and sitting by the fire was absolutely wonderful. I will most certainly return again.

This was a great house, nestled up the mountain (don't ignore the 4WD advice for the winter - I had a few challenges in the summer!), away from but close to Boone. Private setting with everything you might want! Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. I loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the birds. I loved the flowers and nature sounds. We drove up the mountain to Elk knob Park as well.
