On the doorstep of the Nasqually Entrance

Right down the road from the Mt Rainier, Nasqually Entrance. Fairly close to food and drinks too.

This is a great place to stay to be very close to Rainier Nisqually entrance! The cabin was great, very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for the weekend. One thing is that hot water does smell strongly of sulfur to the point that the scent stays on your skin, so be aware for showering purposes. I really appreciated that there was strong WiFi in the cabin!

Picturesque setting.

Everything was as advertised. We did bring our own folding chairs, which I ended up being glad for. Also, bring your own grill accessories such as charcoal if you plan to use the bbq. Appreciated the host being available without being "too there", if you have ever had that experience. Great place!

You can't beat the location - .4 of a mile, and you are at one of the gates of Mount Rainer NP. One hint: bring your own drinking water. The mineral taste and smell of the water can be a bit overwhelming.

First, the water smells like rotten eggs. It is well water full of sulfur. That should not be used except for flushing toilets let alone for bathing and cooking. The entire cabin smelled so strong with sulfur 24/7. It’s disgusting. Second, this is not a two bedroom cabin. It is one bedroom and a living room with sofa bed. I am disappointed especially given that I paid almost $570 per night for three nights. It ruined my family vacation.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts; I’m sorry your stay didn’t meet expectations. We’ll work on improving our cabin’s listing details and addressing any concerns to ensure a better experience for future guests. However we haven't heard anyone complain about smell in the cabin. We will look into that as well. Wishing you all the best.

Prachtige locatie
