The cottage is clean, cute and comfortable and well stocked with supplies. Our pup loved running in the fenced in front yard and walking on the bike path behind the house. We will definitely stay there again!

Here for the music festival

Super Cozy Cottage! Just minutes from Snowmass and Aspen. Super dog friendly with a nice walking path behind the cottage. This was a great stay.

Great stay in Basalt

My husband and I stayed in the cottage as a base for skiing Snowmass. 5 min from Basalt, about 20 min to Snowmass. Very clean, great amenities, and comfortable. We can’t wait to return next season!

Cottage near Basalt

Very cute comfortable cottage near Basalt for some good dining and 10 miles to Snowmass. A wonderful trail right out the backyard that goes over 30 miles.

This was a great place for a couple and dog. It’s small but has everything you need. Fenced in front yard, grocery within 5 miles, skiing 15 min drive, 1 car easy parking.

Great place to stay just outside of Basalt

The place was really, really clean with a nicely equipped kitchen. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. A beautiful trail was right off of the backyard. Be aware that it is a cottage and quite cozy, but was great for my husband and me.

Quiet and equipped place close to Aspen

We enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and checkin was easy. WiFi was fast for us to do our remote work. Host was responsive to all our questions. Would recommend!

Snowmass Cottage

The cottage is great. Perfect for a couple and a dog Our small dog was happy with the yard, however, a pest control company arrived and sprayed and left a notice saying no pets in yard for 48 hours. We would have appreciated notice.

Great Stay

The cottage (a completely separate part of a house) is quite nice. Compact but we’ll set up. The fenced yard, for this unit only, was great for our dog, who loved hanging out there. The direct access to the Rio Grande Trail is also a huge plus. Only real downside is that noise from the highway is pretty noticeable, especially during the day.

This is really Basalt even though Snowmass Address

The place is set in nice setting. Tall beautiful trees. BUT it is old, and has deferred maintenance. The house was COLD. Heat system is the old baseboard system which is lacking. The nozzle of kitchen sink difficult, everything except for washer dryer are very old. I would not stay again

However, we are very sorry that you confused Snowmass with Snowmass Village! This home is indeed in Snowmass exactly where the VRBO listing map shows its location to be, which is near Basalt as you state. The home does have baseboard heating as you mention, and it works extremely well. In addition, the home has an electric fireplace. We are not certain why the home would have been so cold in June, but we would have been more than happy to assist with the temperature control had you reached out to us about it at any point in time during your five night stay! Many items in this home have been purchased new since we began hosting guests just a few short years ago, including the mattress, sofa, linens, kitchenware, electric grill, patio future and, as you wrote, the washer and dryer. However, we do appreciate you bringing the kitchen faucet to our attention so that we can get it repaired!

Meeting other family staying at other sites

This property was charming,clean, comfortable and reality was true to your on-line representation. Financially, the add on fees were too high for our 2 day stay. I would guess they are the same for a weeklong stay? The advertized price should include all fees. We had not been back to the Roaring Fork valley for many years and the traffic was overwhelming at times like too much of CO. But, we enjoyed this little cottage.

Medical Leave

The property was very accommodating. Very cute and immaculate. Accurate as presented. Unfortunately my wife was not feeling well and we only spent the first night out of 6. No blame to property owners, but there was also very noisy construction on the house across the street, nail guns and circular saws - just the very reason we left Denver to get away from, because there was construction in the back of our house.

Terrific place to stay

We loved everything about this property. It’s in a great location for exploring the area and it was everything as advertised and more. Our golden retriever travels with us so having a fenced in yard is important to us as well. Our stay was so comfortable we would come back in a heartbeat!

Snowmass

The property was well kept - clean - had the needed extras that made to stay comfortable. The location was ideal for walking our dogs and adding to that a complete fenced yard made the dogs happy visitors as well.
