Close to beach but small living space

Good points: Close to trolley stops. Large bedroom and bathroom. Great pool and hot tub. Plenty of beach and pool toys. Bad points: There is no gathering space that is convenient. The living room is extremely small but uncomfortable couch. The dinning room is small room with no windows. Feels like you are in a closet. We could not sit outside at night because the back outside light did not work and would not cover the whole area. The pool is great and private but it gets no sun. The side yard needs to more landscaping to cover wires and equipment. None of the windows opened so the house gets stuffy, especially in the dinning area. Also, needs a deep cleaning. If you are looking for a great beach location and a pool at a budget price, the house will work but note you have no good gathering place inside.

Anna Maria near beach

We loved the location to the beach. Place definitely served its purpose. The only thing I would suggest (and it did not lessen our enjoyment in any way), is to update the dirty area out by the shed as soon as you enter the pool area via the gate; very unattractive. It needs to be decked or paved and perhaps a corn hole game placed. Also, there were no departure instructions anywhere; we left before we received the text/email that told us what to do with sheets, etc, and felt bad that we didn’t get those things done. We would certainly rent this place again.

Family fun

The outdoor space was wonderful. The pool and spa were well maintained. The interior needs some serious help. The upstairs bedroom smelled of urine and upon stripping the bed we discover it was stained and in bad shape. The white leather sofa was very dirty. Both bathrooms could use a tile and grout cleaning. The handle in the downstairs shower fell off as did the front door handle. The manager did bring a new toaster. There were no kitchen towels for hand or dish drying. The proximity to the beach was a bonus. However, the beach chairs and wagon were corroded. One day a man arrived unannounced to check the fire alarms. He had no credentials and the only id was his truck. The next day we received notice that a city employee would be conducting a safety inspection. It would be best if these were done when the rental is vacant. Overall it needs some serious updating. Management did respond to a couple of our concerns in a timely manner. We enjoyed the island and the beach.

Good stay as advertised

Good overall. Living room on main floor small. Pool and hot tub small, but clean and heated well. Bathrooms nice. Beds nice. All bedrooms spacious and nice. Location good about 1/2 block to beach. Been to Anna Maria many times and the beach is amazing. No worries about renting this property.

Disgustingly Filthy

House was absolutely filthy. From stains on the bedding(which came out when I washed immediately upon arrival) to hair in the bed, to stains on the floor. Huge hairball in the shower, a sofa so dirty no one wanted to sit on it, broken curtains rods that held up the nastiest curtains. Needless to say, we spent our late night arrival with no sleep because we had to clean. Many, many unsanitary issues. Owners could care leas and made no effort to make things right. Location and pool were great, but that’s it. This is a strike two with vacasa for us. Won’t allow a third.
