This rustic, yet elegant getaway with a trout pond and unmatched view has direct access to miles of trails through fields and forests on Sugar Creek Preserve making this cabin one of the most charming places in the area. In close proximity to Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks and thousands of acres of state forest, Rattlesnake Hill Wildlife Management Area, and Swain Ski Resort, this is perfect for outdoor recreation enthusiasts that need a lot of space to explore. Canaseraga (2 miles down the road) has a local market on the weekends, wildlife and taxidermy shop, gas station, small grocery, and a coffe shop/cafe. Sunrise is also perfect as a cozy retreat on a rainy day or snowy winter's night. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for eating in, propane heat and wood stove, electric, indoor plumbing, full bath, and potable water with excellent Verizon cellular signal. See you soon!

The cabin was awesome! We saw a ton of wildlife. We saw a baby beaver, a doe and spotted fawns, albino doe, a goose and her babies, plenty of birds and fish.

The Cabin

Our family loved our stay. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. We booked due to the location between Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks for our hiking vacation and were pleasantly surprised to find out there were miles of trails through the forest behind the cabin included with the property. The pond was my youngests son and husband's favorite bonus. Many large mouth bass were caught including the fattest bluegill ever seen.*All were returned back to pond as it's catch and release.I highly recommend Sugarceek cottage.

The loveliest place we've stayed. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. Everything was spotless and the home was well stocked. We loved that it was so close to Letchworth State Park and Stoney Brook State Park. We also enjoyed horseback riding just up the road at Overland Morgan Horse Farm. We loved the peaceful surroundings and would enjoy coming back again.

This cabin is just as it appears in the photos. It is clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated. We had no problems and the views are amazing. You do have to drive a bit if you want to do some hiking or other activities- but we didn't mind. It was nice to meet new people. Will stay here again

The Cabin

We had a great time, even though we were a little under the weather. It is such a beautiful place to be even in the winter! Our kids and dog love it a lot! Also, we found our missing Elsa doll from our last stay! So thank you for sleeping her safe! Amelia really appreciated it!
