This a great place to hold your family event. It's the Susquehanna Manor of one of the oldest River towns. Marietta is a very quaint town having many nice restaurants, Antiquing, shopping and Marietta River Trail.

Actually didn’t stay in this house. Can’t write a review for something that never happened. Stayed at the Astor B & B in town. That was great. Chris showed us around and explained everything really well. Only drawback for me was no bedroom on first floor.

The Manor

It is an amazing house with large areas for playing board games, lots of sleeping arrangements and plenty of bathrooms. There were candy treats, coffee options and a basket of fresh eggs. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The house was very cozy and welcoming when we arrived. A very unique property in an area with a good hiking trail you can walk to and the town of Marietta to explore. Our group of twelve all want to return!

Family Reunion Space

Large house on multiple levels. Great spaces for groups with beautiful wraparound porch and many seats, large yard, interior dining spaces and comfortable living room. We catered several meals; large kitchen was available. One accessible bedroom room with ensuite bath at ground level entrance. Other rooms on second floor (staircases).Prior to event, visited/stayed twice to make arrangements. Highly recommend. Close (by car) to hiking, restaurants. Manor is also a bed/breakfast when not VRBO with proprietor family living on-site.

Great hospitality, unique manor, Hershey family fun

We were so lucky to be able to snatch up this property in a pinch when our other booking cancelled on us 3 days before check in. Rachel, the host, was so accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. I would suggest communicating with her ahead of time to confirm the number of rooms you will be getting, since there may be other renters there at the same time (the owner operates it as a bed-and-breakfast). We took over the house (it's an interesting, beautiful, old manor!) and prepared 2-3 meals a day in the kitchen for our large group, which consisted of multiple families with children. The property is an easy drive to Hershey, where we visited Hersheypark and Hershey's Chocolate World. Also, just so you're not surprised, there are pets who live in the house (1 cat, 1 dog).

This has always been a guest house. It was arranged in such a way where the domestics could come and go as they needed. The Music Room we can arrange to fit your family event. Table and chairs up to 24. Outdoor garden space. Up to 35 Guest. Larger events please contact me.

Beautifully situated up on the hill. With its playful charm. Come enjoy a cigar on the porch. Share a glass of wine. HotTub is up and ready. There are porch heaters for those chilly nights. We know and understand how important getting away and being able to enjoy your time is. We do what we can to make that possible.
