Lovely home in upper scale neighbourhood. 5 minute walk to one of Victoria's best beaches. Also, walk to trails, shops, matticks farm, groceries, golf, mini golf, pharmacy, ice cream, restaurants, cafes and more.
This is an upstairs of a home with a suite below. it is a large house a total of 4500 sq feet with top portions over 2000 sq feet. Enjoy for vacation, business or while you're waiting for a reno to your own house, people always enjoy a stay at this home.

Disappointed

While the accommodation is fairly nice two of the three bathrooms need updating - especially the taps in the main bathroom. There needs to be blinds or curtains in the kitchen as the sun can be blinding. Most of all the tenant or lower “guests” should be made aware that their excessive noise late at night and early morning is not acceptable. Unfortunately the beach house restaurant (Cordova Bay) is closed permanently as of August - disappointing too.

To our future guests, We don't think this review is genuine. This home has always received positive feedback from Airbnb guests, some even calling it their favorite and like “heaven”. The house is professionally soundproofed but like any condo as well there would be some noises. Although, we have never received a noise complaint. If you want zero noise, then rent a single house with no suites in the countryside. We understand that the house isn't perfect, however all three bathrooms do match the photos 100%. While there actually are blinds in the kitchen to block out the sun, the other windows don't need them because the house is so private. Please don't base your decision solely on this review. Apologies Alex, yes the beach house closed in September which is out of our control but we hope to have a replacement in that lovely location soon and there are a couple of other restaurants within walking distance as well.
