About the host
Hosted by Stacy
Carl & Stacy are the new owners of The Last Resort Kipling Cottages. We are both from Gladstone. We live in Escanaba. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. We fell in love with The Last Resort when we first saw it. We have renovated all three cottages and have plans to keep improving them as time allows. We are excited to be able to share our little cottages with guests traveling to the Upper Peninsula.
We love the UP. If you have questions about the local area, let us know. We would be happy to help. We want to help make your vacation enjoyable with memories to last a lifetime.
When you arrive, we hope you feel the same "peaceful, easy feeling" we do.
Your interaction with us will be up to you. Door code will be provided so you can check in any time after 3pm on the day of your arrival. We live nearby, so we can assist you via phone, text or stop by in person. Just let us know what you need. Some items are not kept on site because of limited space. If you need a highchair or pack n play, let us know ahead of time so we can have it there for your arrival.

Why they chose this property
If you are looking for a fishing cabin / cottage on Little Bay de Noc, we are open year round with only a two day minimum stay. Ride out onto Lake Michigan right from your cottage. Little Bay de Noc is known as the Walleye Capital of the World. If you would like a fishing charter, let us know and we can send you contact information.
What makes this property unique
We are located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. We are open year round with direct lake access for our guests. You can launch and dock your boat (20 feet or less) right here. Our cottages have all been updated. We have clean, comfortable beds, couches and bedding so you can enjoy your stay. Each cottage has it's own Spectrum WIFI so you have a strong connection, not sharing with other cottages.
