109 W Canal - Bay block on Lewes beach!

Just one block to the beach!! This Lewes beach cottage is situated on the corner of W Canal and Cedar Street making it easy to reach the beach or bike into downtown Lewes.

Enter onto the front screened porch and then into the main house. The open living area is bright and airy! The adjacent kitchen and dining is perfect for a gathering. Two bedrooms are located on the back side of the house with a full bathroom as well as an additional half bath.

The third bedroom is a second floor loft area accessed by a spiral staircase with two sleeping spaces. One side has two twin beds while the other has a Queen. There is also a half bath.

This home does not accept pets. Friday to Friday Rental

Linens are not included. Bring your own or OPT in to the linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

Vacation home

Perfect location

We loved the proximity to the water (exactly 130 steps from the front door to the boardwalk on the sand!). The house was a great size for our family of four (and a boyfriend). Well stocked kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised to find several rafts, boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage. Bring your bikes! We biked to Cape Henelopen, the George Lewes Trail, and we took the ferry to bike to Cape May for a day. We loved the feel of Lewes and the bay beach area much more than the typical boardwalk beach area. Thank you!

This is the first house that I had to go somewhere to pick up keys. Not an issue just not as easy with having lock box at the house access. The lock box allows you to leave and lock the key in the box or key pad on lock. Just don’t have to worry about misplacing a key. It’s not really an issue to an idea.
