2 story fully furnished house with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms - quiet street location is central to pharmacy and grocery stores as well as walking distance to downtown 2nd Street Lewes. Just minutes to area beaches and approximately 6 miles to Rehoboth Beach.
Beach house has a dining room, living room, kitchen w/ washer and dryer, front porch, back deck and fenced in back yard. New is outside entertainment building the “Salt Shack”
Location is also ideal for nurses as this home is located within walking distance to Beebe Healthcare. This home also has a driveway as well as street parking.
Has wi-fi and cable. Utilities included in stay. Housekeeping upon request.
This is a pet friendly home (dogs preferably) * see nonrefundable pet fee * extra fee of $75.00 for more than 2 animals.
Kitchen is completely set up with dishes, eating utensils and cookware and cooking utensils. Blender, air fryer and crockpot available.
Coffee machine provided (keurig and regular coffee maker available), coffee grinder
Gas grill provided ( on back deck), extra full tank available.
Hair dryer, iron and ironing board provided. Pack N Play available. wooden booster /High chair available.

Great stay in Lewes!

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The house was well-stocked, organized, and charming. The layout was perfect for a stay with a grandparent and a pre-schooler, and the yard was a real bonus. We loved walking to The Station on King and the market, and the beach and restaurants were a quick ride away.

This spot is a little gem close to the center of Lewes. The fenced yard was perfect for our doodle and we loved the salt shack in the rear where we spent most afternoons and evenings relaxing. The beds were super comfy and the AC units kept the house cool on warmer days. The owners have made this house a great place to vacation. Can’t wait to come back!

Cozy House

This property was great for my family over the Christmas holiday. We were in town visiting other family and so we mostly slept here and spent our days at their place. The house is very cozy and well kept. The backyard space is great for kids and the dog.

This property is a very quaint beach cottage. It has character, is nicely decorated & well stocked. The kitchen is small, but meets all needs for a vacation stay. The location is an easy walk to restaurants and shops, quick drive to cape henlopen & nearby beaches. Strongly recommend. Even neighbors are friendly & helpful.owner friendly & easy to work with.

Fantastic location - an easy walk or bicycle ride into town, near the weekly farmers market, a block and a half from an awesome bicycling/walking trail, two doors down from a day spa where you can get a great massage, less than a block away from the awesome Lloyds market. Walking distance to everything. Historic area nearby. Beach is an easy bicycle ride away, and can be walking distance too if you’re up for a walk. Very well stocked home, beyond my expectations. The layout and back yard were ideal for traveling with pets too. And the “salt shack” is such an added bonus. Communications with the host were above and beyond- very friendly and welcoming. My dogs and I highly recommend this rental home. It had everything we needed and more.

The house was very nice in a great neighborhood. The owners were great to work with and made the process easy. Plenty of sleeping room and living space for our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My wife and I and our adult daughter with our 2 dogs had a great time. The fenced in yard is perfect for the dogs to play. Then the Salt Shack was a great spot to cool off from the heat with a drink and the 75 inch tv. Can’t think of anything that the owner/ property manager didn’t furnish or offer. The house met all our needs. It was comfortable and close to other family we were meeting with. The neighborhood was quiet. The big hit was the Salt Shack. It is simply beautiful! We spent every evening there watching tv on the 75” tv. Don’t hesitate to stay there. You won’t be disappointed!!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and came well stocked with Bath towels, bed sheets, TP, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, amongst other helpful things in the kitchen. Our pet was super comfortable. She loved the fenced in backyard. Front porch was roomy with nice furniture. We did not use the Salt Shack in the backyard, but it was a very cool space. The walk to town was doable for us. About 10 minutes. The house also had cable which was a first for us. This is the 3rd difference house we rented in Lewes. Neighbors were quiet. Communication was very easy with the owner. We’ll be back again next year.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our week was…..This charming home offered us a wonderful week. Loved the screened in porch for morning coffee, beautiful street for walks (with Lloyd’s market around the corner!!!- cutest market ever!), perfect sized home for group of seven, great yard for your dogs and so on…..We will definitely be back. Cozy home in Lewes

The property was cozy and comfortable. There are several spaces to enjoy. The front porch, the deck and the salt shack provide plenty of room for family to spread out. Due to illness, several of our family members weren’t able to come with us so there were only two of us and our dog on this trip. We didn’t get to share all the house had to offer. The neighborhood was peaceful and we could easily walk into town. I would highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful stay in this quaint home! Neat as a pin and had everything we needed; kitchen was well equipped, enjoyed the screened front porch for early morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Back deck with grill was perfect for a dinner al fresco. The window units kept the house very comfortable. Easy bike ride and short walk to museum, shops, & restaurants on 2nd Street, State Park was about 3 miles.. Brenda was quick to respond and very accessible. Can’t thank you enough!! Charming cottage

Home was clean and comfortable with a beach theme theme throughout. Second floor bedrooms each had their own AC unit and were very comfortable. Our kids stayed downstairs and their bedrooms were a bit warm for sleeping (could have been helped if they slept with doors open as the rest of downstairs was nicely cooled). The fenced in yard was very nice, and the newly constructed salt shack was a great place to eat al fresco, then head into the AC for a movie night. The beach is walkable, but we chose to drive as it is a bit far to cart chairs, etc. The historic downtown is an easy walk, and there is also a park with pond nearby. Note - there is no longer a screened outdoor space - bring bug spray if you enjoy eating outdoors! Our family of four and dog had a great stay!

Adorable Beach Cottage

Property was very sweet, a real beach cottage vibe. Had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed the screened porch and the easy walk or bike ride to center of town and beach. The pretty plantings in front of house added to our enjoyment. We cooked a lot and kitchen was well stocked w items. There are no condiments though but we bought what we needed. Only thing I would change is window air conditioners which are loud and blow directly on beds and dining table. Our weather was pretty nice so for most part we had windows open and enjoyed ceiling fans. I would definitely go back.

I was born and raised in Lewes DE. This home was my childhood home. My roots are here and I loved every minute of Lewes and growing up in this small town. Upon inherited this home, wanted to share this home with others as they experience Lewes.

What makes this property unique

This home is small but comfortable and cozy. Hard to believe growing up here there were at one time 6 of us. We recently added the outside Salt Shack hangout to expand the features of the home and to provide a fun area to sit, relax, cook out, play corn hole, listen to music, etc... The hang out offers a place to be outside enjoying fresh air and sunshine. The Salt Shack has a mini split therefore the right temperature is not a problem. The Salt shack has a comfortable sofa and chair as well as large screen TV with streaming. There is also a retro fridge & microwave along with a separate keurig to make a cup of coffee while sitting outside. The grill is propane with an extra tank in the side storage to the left of the building.
