A stunning suite-newly constructed @ Preservation Forge-in the heart of downtown Lewes-named 2022's most beautiful city in America-a short walk to the beach, boutiques, restaurants, & cultural destinations of this charming town. With a fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining & lounging area, our cathedral great room is perfect for entertaining. Sleeps 4 w/ 1 King bedroom, 1 pull out Queen sofa bed, a full bath with tiled shower, & washer/dryer, just a few highlights of this 2nd story apartment.

-The Space-
Stepping into our newly renovated stylish suite, you will be awed by the reclaimed wood shiplap cathedral ceiling with original iron trusses, and under your feet, solid wide plank white oak flooring. In the gathering area, you can enjoy the electric fireplace below a solid reclaimed Heart Pine mantel and above that, a large Smart TV. The open layout leads into a large full kitchen offering an 8’ granite-topped island with 4 counter stools, accented by 2 beautiful nautical pendant lights. The kitchen is stocked with all of the amenities you would possibly need. The appliances include, a large side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, an induction cooktop/range, microwave, a full size dishwasher, and kitchen disposal. In your dining area you can enjoy a solid reclaimed pine dining table, custom made by Old Wood Delaware, which seats 6. You’ll appreciate all of the accent lighting throughout, that enhances the ambiance of the space. Entering the area of the bedroom, you’ll notice details beyond your imagination featuring a stunning fully custom tiled designer bathroom including a floating granite-topped vanity, highlighted by under cabinet lighting and a backlit mirror. The bathroom is stocked with body soap, shampoo/conditioner, and luxury towels. As you enter the bedroom you’ll marvel at the hand inlaid wood starburst custom bed dressed with high-end linens. The room is accented by the reclaimed wood shiplap wall, full mirrored closet doors, and you will also enjoy while relaxing in bed the large smart TV.

-Guest Access-
The suite offers its own private digital keyless entrance. Included is free on-street parking as well as 1 private parking space. Enjoy your private deck off of the kitchen, including outdoor lighting. In the exterior storage closet you will find a beach cart & chairs to use as a courtesy during your stay.

We have stayed 3 or 4 times, and will continue to stay each time we come to Lewes. The suite is comfortable, spacious, and immaculate. I’m impressed by how well it has been kept up. So nice to stay right in town and to be able to walk to restaurants in the evening.

This apartment is beautifully decorated, ideally situated and lovely. It is the ideal space for a couple visiting Lewes.we had acouple of monir issues, with the trash not having been taken out and the dishwasher full, but the owner apologised and it was not a major issue.

Perfect little getaway

This apartment was the perfect cozy retreat! The location couldn’t be better-everything in this charming historic coastal town is just a short walk away. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amentiies we needed. A truly wonderful stay!

Beautiful condo and perfect location!

My mom and I enjoyed a wonderful mother-daughter weekend at this beautiful condo. The lovely decor and gorgeous craftsmanship was so inviting, and the distance was perfect to walk to downtown shops, restaurants, and the beach. We can’t wait to return again next year!

This property is a gem! The host was wonderful and made everything seamless. The space was beautiful and was in a great location to the town, state park, and all the beaches! It had all the amenities we needed and more. The bed was also the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

A True Gem!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our recent getaway to Preservation Forge Suite "A". Aside from being beautifully and tastefully decorated, it is only steps away from many of Lewes' fine restaurants and shops. Inside, the suite offers a fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, 50" television, and one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Staying here was a real treat, and I can see us coming back. I'll surely be adding this location to my short list of "go-to" places in the Lewes area.

Outstanding property! Comfotable, clean, all the amenities of home, two minute walk to all the restaurants and shops in downtown Lewes and fifteen minute walk to Lewes Beach on the bay. Will definitely return to this property in the future.

This suite is amazing

We spent a week here during the summer - all the little details have been thought through- items for the beach (beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc) made our stay super easy. Also, the in unit finishes were amazing - lots of storage space, beautiful high ceilings which bring in lots of natural light. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Would definitely recommend staying here again

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I had a relaxing extended weekend at the suite in Lewes. I've had my eye on this place for awhile now and it didn't disappoint! We were there during the tropcial storm and it was such a cozy stay. We were steps from restaurants and shops which we were able to duck in and out of during the rain. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean and check in/out was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

Valentine weekend get away.

Where do I start….from 1st communcation with Mary until we entered the suite just easy and awesome. Mary leaves no stone unturned in the suite. The suite has everything and anything you need at anytime. The suite is so nicely decorated and comfortable, Mary thinks of everything to make your stay remarkable. The convenience of everything near by is another reason that makes her place so great.Take my word you will have a wonderful time. Beautiful property conveniently located with off-street parking in central uptown Lewes. Short drive to Savannah Beach. Comfortable bed, upscale linens, A/C, smart tv & lots of amenities such as beach chairs & towels. The only disappointing part was leaving.

We have rented many properties in many places over many years and this was the nicest one we’ve ever stayed in. Being immaculately clean was the starting point. The unit is very large- luxurious for 2 people! - and beautifully renovated by true craftspeople. The woodwork and iron work are stunning. The furniture, decor, linens and kitchen/dining supplies were all first rate, not the cheap stuff often found in rentals. Our host was very responsive and made sure we had no problem accessing the property. We are very familiar with Lewes and love this location. You are steps from everywhere you want to be in town. Beaches, trails and beautiful Henlopen State Park are minutes by bicycle via the miles of bike trails that converge in Lewes. I am already plotting a return visit.

Property exactly as advertised. Everything you could possibly want and need for the beach and for a very very comfy stay. Mary was awesome to communicate with!The only thing I would give a heads up on to future guests is that the property faces the back side of all of the restaurants and businesses on second street. So if you're noise sensitive you will experience some refuse management and delivery truck noise. This is not specific to this property at all but all of the housing in this particular area. I live quite a ways out in NM and am just not accustomed to more bustling noise in town.We are very excited to come back to Lewes and enjoy the town and beaches again!

We had a fantastic stay! The furniture and beds were comfortable, we took mental notes on how we want to renovate our place, and we will definitely be back. The owner was a great communicator and we loved the proximity to downtown. Even though we planned on hitting the beach, we were rained out and made the most of our time with board games, movies, and shopping.
