A stunning suite-newly constructed @ Preservation Forge-in the heart of downtown Lewes-named 2022's most beautiful city in America-a short walk to the beach, boutiques, restaurants, & cultural destinations of this charming town. With a fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining & lounging area, our cathedral great room is perfect for entertaining. Sleeps 4 w/ 1 King bedroom, 1 pull out Queen sofa bed, a full bath with tiled shower, & washer/dryer, just a few highlights of this 2nd story apartment.

Stepping into our newly renovated stylish suite, you will be awed by the reclaimed wood shiplap cathedral ceiling with original iron trusses, and under your feet, solid wide plank white oak flooring. In the gathering area, you can enjoy the electric fireplace below a solid reclaimed Heart Pine mantel and above that, a large Smart TV. The open layout leads into a large full kitchen offering an 8’ granite-topped island with 4 counter stools, accented by 2 beautiful nautical pendant lights. The kitchen is stocked with all of the amenities you would possibly need. The appliances include, a large side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, an induction cooktop/range, microwave, a full size dishwasher, and kitchen disposal. In your dining area you can enjoy a solid reclaimed pine dining table, custom made by Old Wood Delaware, which seats 6. You’ll appreciate all of the accent lighting throughout, that enhances the ambiance of the space. Entering the area of the bedroom, you’ll notice details beyond your imagination featuring a stunning fully custom tiled designer bathroom including a floating granite-topped vanity, highlighted by under cabinet lighting and a backlit mirror. The bathroom is stocked with body soap, shampoo/conditioner, and luxury towels. As you enter the bedroom you’ll marvel at the hand inlaid wood starburst custom bed dressed with high-end linens. The room is accented by the reclaimed wood shiplap wall, full mirrored closet doors, and you will also enjoy while relaxing in bed the large smart TV.

The suite offers its own private digital keyless entrance. Included is free on-street parking as well as 1 private parking space. Enjoy your private deck off of the kitchen, including outdoor lighting. In the exterior storage closet you will find a beach cart & chairs to use as a courtesy during your stay.

Beautiful property

Great design, great location, quality appliances, thoughtfully supplied. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants on a quiet street in a quiet block. Would definitely stay here again!

We schedule 2 -3 day getaways to Lewes throughout the year. We discovered this property last month and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked it again this month. It could easily become our regular home away from home when visiting the Delaware shore.

Amazing Stay

Suite A was absolutely perfect. It is even more beautiful in person that it is online. It was so clean and attention was paid to every detail from glassware to appliances to pillows & blankets to toiletries. And the location was great, just a quick walk to downtown. You can walk to the beach for a nice stroll, but it might be difficult to carry everything you need for a day at the beach. We look forward to staying there again.

Modern amenities, a block away from restaurants and shops, 20 minutes to Milton to see a musical, wonderful attentive host and quiet space on the second floor with a wood shop on street level. Thank you Mary!
