Beautifully landscaped and completely remodeled canal front home located in a quiet neighborhood just one mile from Nokomis beach. Rent a golf cart or bicycles and drive to the beach, Pop's Sunset Grill, Pelican Alley or view the luxury homes along Casey Key. Five minute drive to downtown Venice!

Channel Cat has been completely remodeled and features tile floors, new stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and thoughtfully designed furnishings. A spacious, open floor plan looks out to the lanai and provides comfortable seating and dining space for all. A foosball table and streaming TVs offer indoor entertainment when you are not venturing out.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bathroom with the stand up shower. A king size bed is in the 2nd bedroom while the 3rd bedroom has a full size and a twin bed. A hallway bathroom with a shower/tub combo serve these bedrooms. All three bedrooms feature smart TVs set up with apps for streaming and watching your favorite shows using your personal logins or the free featured channels that come with the TVs. There is no traditional cable at this home.
Highspeed wireless internet is provided by Xfinity.

Enjoy the screened in Lanai trimmed with multicolor party lights on cool evenings and for early morning coffee. Use the canal behind the house for kayaking, fishing, or boating. The canal has direct gulf access (there is an 8 foot bridge to maneuver), and you can tie a boat up on the dock behind the house.

The location is ideal for easy access to the Nokomis public beach and boat ramp, the Nokomis jetty's, and the famous Pop's Sunset Grill. View the multi million dollar homes along Casey Key and stop in at the Casey Key Fish House at Blackburn Point. Downtown Venice and Sarasota as well as Siesta Key are only a short drive from Nokomis. There is so much to do and so much beauty in this area, you are sure to love it!

Home in Quiet Neighborhood

Clean home with many amenities, situated on a canal. Quiet neighborhood within close driving distance to supermarket, coffee, drug store. Would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and offered plenty of space to relax and spread out for our family of four. The neighborhood was quiet and safe with Publix really close. The location is ideal for day trips, with many attractions within easy reach. Nokomis Beach was a short drive away and pleasantly uncrowded during the first week of July—less busy than neighboring beaches and good for shelling. While walking to the beach was a bit far for us with kids and gear, the drive was quick and easy.We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our family stayed at the Channel Cat while our home was being remodeled. It was the most perfect place for our little family. We extended our stay several times as our home was delayed with projects, and Dawn was delighted to have us continue to stay. We treated it like our own home, taking out the trash, mopping, vacuuming, and of course, going to the beach! Our son also started school this year while we were at the "Cat". We will always think of this home as our second home in Nokomis and will always recommend it to family and friends who come to visit. Thanks again Dawn!!

Labor Day Family Weekend from Orlando

What a fabulous property. The pictures on the VRBO did not really reflect how great this property was. We have rented 20+ times from VRBO/HA and this was one of our favorites! We have paid 3-4 times this price and not appreciated and liked this one as much as we did this one. Even my husband who rarely says anything, has mentioned multiple times how great this house was. There were 5 of us - all adults. The house has 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. I thought that we would be short one bathroom, but because of the location of the one bath to two of the bedrooms there was no problem. All 3 bedrooms had TV’s which was a necessity as well as a huge family room TV. The entire home was perfectly decorated and very tasteful. Location was very convenient to Nokomis and Venice with Nokomis Beach less than one mile away. We also rented a 6-passenger golf cart which was wonderful because it was street legal. We went to the beach and restaurants in it and was great family fun. The house location was on a very quiet dead end with a canal behind the house. We very much enjoyed the programmable multi-functioning patio lights and I am ordered 2 sets for our own home. Dawn the owner responded promptly with any questions. We definitely will rent this house again if in the area, Thank you Dawn for sharing your beautiful house!

Wonderful Beach Vacation

The house and location was amazing. 2 minutes to Nokomis beach, marinas, ice cream, etc. Venice and all its 3 beaches a quick and easy 5-10 minute drive. My wife, myself and our 19,16,10 and 8 kids all stayed here more than comfortably. The foosball table got used often every day and was a great afternoon activity away from the heat. Only thing to mention, and it is posted in the bathrooms, is the sensitive septic (slow to drain/flush). We worked around it and staggered our showers . It did not affect us negatively at all. If you are an understanding person it is fine, if you are a "Karen" then now you know. We would 100% stay here again and the kids asked if we could move the house back with us to Ohio.

I love this home because it is so close to the beach! You can zip to the jetty in your golf cart or boat to watch the sunset every evening. The house had been beautifully remodeled before I purchased it.
