Amazing property. Great location and beautiful house. Would stay here again if I was in the area. The town is so charming and Sly Restaurant is so good. Everyone is so friendly here.

Location was spot on! Unfortunately there was a lot wrong. For starters, we booked because the pictures of the fire-pit was open view to the lake. It was completely overgrown. I did reach out and offered to clear the overgrown area and was granted permission. The shower curtains had mold on them, the windows were filthy. Looks as though the place was maintained poorly. Even the dishwasher smelled nasty and moldy. We hand washed everything. Lots of potential but definitely poorly maintained.

Our stay was filled with wonderful memories, and the location truly made the experience! The views were absolutely beautiful, the home was incredibly spacious, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Communication with the host was also fantastic!While I'm giving this property five stars for the location, space, communication, and memories we made, I do want to share a little constructive feedback. The home could have been cleaner upon arrival, as we found ourselves wiping down counters. We also wished we had some window cleaner to clean the windows overlooking that incredible view!While the home was spacious and functional, I wouldn't necessarily describe it as cozy. It was fairly basic, and a few simple touches like throw blankets, games, and warmer decor would have made it feel more inviting.Overall, the location, beautiful surroundings, spacious accommodations, and great communication made this a memorable getaway. With a little extra attention to cleanliness and comfort, this property could be truly exceptional!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful home close to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Private beach access with gorgeous sunsets. This home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The homeowner Jason was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lake Superior location and spacious house. Plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy the view! Easy access to walking the stunning shoreline of Lake Superior. House was clean and comfortable, especially the sectional couch that sucks you in and you never want to leave it ;) COMFY !!! We would definitely come stay here again !!!

Beautiful place!

We so much enjoyed our stay here, the house was beautiful. Steps from the lake made it perfect! The hiking and the waterfalls were great. We will definitely plan another trip in the future, Jason was very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

Annual UP snowmobile trip

We spend 5 days each year in the UP snowmobiling at various locations. This was definitely one of the nicer places we stayed and the best location so far for trail access. It was also one of the more affordable VRBO's we found.

We struggled to get access information. Almost 2 hours after allowed entrance time we were provided with access information. We had a party of eight and there was limited paper towels, toiletries, trash bags, and cooking/food prep items.Overall, it was a great house and very comfortable with great access.

Family Vacation

This place was amazing. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Spent a lot of time on the lake and exploring the area and collecting rocks. We didn't want to leave . Will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful location

We greatly enjoyed our family’s getaway for a long weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather in September! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. We spent a lot of time on the beach - even taking some dips in Lake Superior. S’mores on the beach were extra delicious! Would highly recommend this VRBO. We may be back😊
