We were very disappointed to find that we had to move to a different property two days into our stay. This was unanticipated and inconvenient. With no explanationAnd not what we contracted for.
Perfect location for a week-long stay to visit friends.

Was in town visiting family for thanksgiving. Found this place. Great place, great location, great amenities, no hidden extra fees. If it stays that way, I will book again.

Convenient to both Old World Golf courses. The unit was clean. The staff was courteous. I confirmed that we were renting a unit with 2 queens beds, but when we arrived
only units with king beds were available. beds and were
Whole resort was very nice. Located in a quiet, private area. Pool area was very nice. Our unit was clean and comfortable enough.Unfortunately, we did not receive a room with a balcony as advertised. I enjoy sitting on the porch while on vacation, so this lack of outdoor space lessened my enjoyment of the property. Also, one of the two mattresses could use a replacement. I equated it to sleeping in a nest.
My accommodations were very comfortable. And close to my family for activities. When I needed technical help with a tv it was solved that day. Only wish the unit had a Keurig coffee maker instead. I would stay at this Vrbo again.
The unit worked great for us. The only negatives about the unit were that the kitchen didn't have any counter space and the stove would be better if it was a flat top (able to use the stove top space as a counter). We enjoyed the amenities and the resort was not overcrowded. Plenty of space to enjoy.
Great Stay at the Grande Villas at World Golf Village
I booked a single bedroom condo for a few days golfing at the World Golf Village. The condo was perfect for my golf trip! After an easy check-in I was in a very comfortable room conveniently located within walking distance to the WGV Proshop. The room was exactly as advertised complete with an efficiency kitchen, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. There's a very nice swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, pickleball courts and more! My host did an excellent job communicating with me including answering my questions including some helpful check-in hints. I'll definitely be back!

Sleepless nights
Booked and paid for a unit with two queen beds. Got one king. Spent two miserable nights on pullout couch adjacent to refrigerator whose ice machine groaned & rumbled into production every few hours. Bait and switch gone bad. Will not recommend to others.

The problem with this is that Expedia reservation triggered Vrbo text message about the property and check-in. I later got email (day before arrival) from a totally different company that manages the property. The message arrived 3pm and asked that i CALL a phone number between 10 am and 3:30pm that day. I panicked trying to reach them for 2 days, only to get a call back on my last flight to JAX. I arrived at 11pm and had the gate code, but the clubhouse was locked and dark. Good thing i rattled the doors and someone came and let me in. She could not find my reservation and check-in took 35 minutes. Worse yet: It's now a Hilton Grand Vacations and they try their pressure sales to get you to buy a unit. It is a not reasonable that Expedia even offers this property because there are two more layers of management to navigate.
Booked 14 day stay..host confirmed. Two days before called resort and they told me my reservation was spilt into 4 confirmations and I would be moved 4 times during my stay. Check out at 10. Check in at 4. Contacted host, vrbo, and owners service multiple times. Told by owner it would be fixed. Arrived and resort said nothing fixed. Room was not as pictured. Kitchenette not kitchen. Small 2 chair table. Dirty.. had resort remove drapes due to excessive dust and dirt. They replaced dirty chair and ottomans but I covered replacements w sheets to sit on After 5 days made first move to room that was in somewhat improved condition . Owner offered extremely minimal Credit for all the inconvenience and said ‘sorry’ But mostly ignored my complaints and responded to have a good stay! Don’t rent from him!!!!

When you book this through Expedia you are getting a VRBO condo owner. Our owner cancelled the first 3 nights of our 7 night stay the day before we left. We paid months in advance and lost nearly half our vacation. It cost more to stay in the Holiday Inn than our original booking because the Players Championship was on that weekend. You are never informed of these things upfront. You will have no recourse if the owner decides to use the property at the last minute.
Also, they are in the middle of rebuilding building #2, so if you get #1 or #3 it will be noisy from 7am till 7pm every day. The quality of the place is good, but they are playing Jenga with the services. The exquisite coffee maker in the front lobby has been replaced with a comical Flogers machine. The same feel permeates the wider resort.
In no particular order: Killed 3 giant roaches during our stay. Twin beds is not what we thought we were getting. View from the 1st floor room was AC units and hedges. No adult pool option at the pool facility. Climate control was awful at night - from freezing to sweating. Completely unhelpful & unresponsive staff when I tried to change my name for the other reservation I made for my business guest in another room. Tried to assess a completely unreasonable charge to change the name from myself to my biz guest (I had to wait to determine which partner(s) of the firm we were entertaining would be able to attend). Lousy property. Lousy service. Few to no amenities. Will never make the mistake of staying here/using this service again. At least it was a learning experience.
