The house was great. My only complaint is that the water was not hot in the shower. The water was burning hot in the tops in the bathroom and the kitchen, but the shower didn’t really get hotter than warm which made it unpleasant. My son complained that the upstairs bedroom was dusty.
We had a wonderful stay. The house had all we needed and had no trouble getting groceries delivered to the property. We loved exploring the nearby creek and soaking in the hot tub to wind down. Beds were comfy and the house was nice and clean.
I enjoyed my stay despite losing internet due to a bad storm. The host was pretty responsive. Please keep in mind the house is about 15 mins outside of downtown Woodstock. The home is super spacious and warm my only fall out is the bathroom shower pressure was very limited and did not get super hot.
We had a lovely stay! the home was spacious with a great kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the collection of boardgames were a nice touch. After a long ski day we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on one of the coldest weekends of the year. The home was located close to a few nice winter hiking trails. We'd stay here again.
House and amenities were great! Living area was perfect for our group to hang out. Could have used more paper towels and toilet paper available but not a big issue.
Very quiet. Large house suitable for big groups. Wood fired stove and hot tub were highlights. Host was very attentive. Wifi is strong but I had no phone service (AT&T) in the area.

Thank you Nathan, I am glad you loved your stay, We would love to host you again.
We had a great relaxing weekend with friends, enjoyed the comfortable living room (with stove) and hot tub. Great restaurant within walking distance (The Pines) and we drove down the street to hike the Ashokan Reservoir rail trail. Property is great, host is very helpful and communicated quickly. Very satisfied!

Thank you Thomas, I am glad you loved your stay. We would love an opportunity to host you again.
This home is lovely. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities your family could ask for. The beds are comfortable and the hot tub and sauna are so relaxing after a day shopping in Woodstock or hiking. The owners were very responsive and quick to reply. Wonderful experience in a beautiful home! We will definitely be back.

We rented this home for a family gathering to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the property did not reflect the condition presented in the listing photos, and our experience was disappointing.Upon arrival, we observed several maintenance issues on the exterior, including an unkempt appearance, a broken cellar door, and storm doors that had been secured with duct tape. The overall first impression was quite different from the listing.Inside the home, we found several housekeeping and maintenance concerns. These included a dirty oven, a rug in the sunroom that appeared soiled, dead plants, a sunroom door that was not usable, and a dryer that was still full of bath towels and kitchen towels when we arrived. These observations made us question whether the home had been fully prepared for incoming guests.During our stay, the area experienced several inches of heavy rainfall, causing flooding throughout the region. While this weather was obviously beyond the host's control, we also noticed water leaking from around a recessed light fixture. We decided to leave one day earlier than planned.I contacted the host throughout our stay. She responded promptly to my questions and communicated professionally. She also refunded the cost of our final night after we departed early, which I appreciated. However, I believe future guests should know that, in our experience, the property's overall condition did not match the listing photos.
The place was close enough to Woodstock and surrounding areas to drive 10-20 minutes in each direction. My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing couple of days away. The hot tub was great. Easy to access with privacy ( the property is shared with other rentals but we only saw our neighbors once) The sun room was gorgeous in the morning to sit and have a cup of coffee and relax. Good backyard to let our dog run a bit. And surrounding area beautiful with creeks and nature. Good sized home if you wanted to come with family or friends as they had bedrooms upstairs. We stayed on the main floor. The kitchen had some plates, cups, pots and pans although we only used the coffee maker in the morning. The rest we ate out. But good for a family if you wanted to cook in a few nights. Some negatives- I was looking forward to soaking in the tub, but with some stains it was not inviting and did not use. The shower curtain could be replaced as the bottom had mold. The bathroom was clean otherwise! The shower head was a mist at best… hard to wash curly hair, ladies. The heat was almost too good as we roasted during the night. We had a hard time getting some of the lights to work in the hallway and kitchen. The overall place was clean, bedsheets, fresh towels, etc. I think it just could use some simple updates such as patches in the ceiling, window screens without holes, and a new lock for the back door as the screen kept flying open. Overall we enjoyed our stay for the 2 nights we were there.

A Mediocre Stay in the Catskills
This place was pretty true to the listing. it had great space, and the Catskills are beautiful. It was okay for a weekend. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but it’s not worth a repeat visit or a recommendation. There was minimal communication between the host and us, not that we had any emergent situations but I had to request information regarding the property prior to our stay. They were friendly and efficient, I wish there was just more info given on the property/cleaning and trash procedures/house rules. The cleanliness of the property was quite disappointing. There were dirty, unwashed dishes in the kitchen and mold in the bathtub that made it unusable (basically straight mold came out of the spout). The shower only has a “mist” function so it made showering hard and washing hair impossible, and there is only one bathroom so there is no other bathing option. Half the lights in the home didn’t work, and we were using phone flashlights in the kitchen in the evening. Despite being in the middle of a cold front with about a foot of snow, the heat in the home would not go above 63 even when we remained inside for a full day. The wood burning stove in the home is lovely and provides a lot of warmth, but having to pay 15 a bundle of wood in a home that already had inadequate heating was undesirable. I’d go back to the area, but definitely not to the home.
