Enjoyed a just plain down right wonderful weekend. The Cozy Cabin was very comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit each evening as that was one of the highlights of our stay. Kevin and Fran have done a terrific job by providing everything necessary to enjoy a warm and cozy stay. It was a wonderful way to celebrate Joanna's 70th birthday.
Great area everything was convenient. Grocery store etc. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and cooking on the grill. Very relaxing. Beautiful scenery. Fire pit area was great and well lit with outdoor lights
Everything was as advertised. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have a 4WD vehicle and didn’t have any problem with the driveway, but it is very steep.
This was such a cozy cabin in an idyllic location. The views were gorgeous and the peace unmatched. The porch was the best part - since it rained most of the weekend, we got to hang out on the porch and be outside (even made s'mores!) while staying dry. I wasn't quite prepared for how steep the hill to the house was, but other than that it was a wonderful time.
Kevin’s Cabin in the mountains was the perfect get away for a weekend. Close to all the activities in and around Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, the stay was everyting we were expecting an much more. Well apportioned and newly renovated the cabin was extremely comfortable. Kevin is a great host. All instructions and answers to inquiries were easy and prompt. The setting was restful especially the outdoor fire pit. Kevin thought of everything we would need (except the S’mores :-) ) and all the instructions on how to get the fire going and even the fire box up on the porch. I highly recommend this location for anyone that wants to get away into the mountains for a relaxing visit to Western NC.
This was by far our most favorite stay! The house was in a great secluded location and the host were absolutely amazing. We could not have had a better experience staying here!! It was so quiet, cozy & beautiful
Pleased with the property. Very quaint and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Excellent communication with the property manager. Was kept in the loop about weather conditions and my stay turned out perfect!
This is our third visit in less than 2 years and we will certainly be back again and again. Every time we stay we discover a new way to relax. The air and the trees are the best antidote for the stresses of everyday.
We had a nice relaxing visit in this Cozy Cabin! The porch door gate was perfect for our dog and we all loved the fire pit and the privacy. The only thing I would recommend is make sure you have 4 wheel drive, even in the spring. The Driveway is quite steep and we needed the 4 Wheel drive to make the turn mid driveway. Other than that, our stay was perfect!
