Both cabins were wonderful, lots of space, beautifully decorated and accommodations were perfect for large families. Location was great. Everything only a couple minute drive into town.
There was 9 of us aged 59+. The place was clean, wonderful, and spacious. We spent a lot of time chatting around the living room or deck area. Close to town but private. Would definitely stay there again when we go back.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin! We actually could not believe what a great value it was compared to some of the other options in and around town. The biggest surprise was how spacious the houses are, and how much we used the yard - we even had a family Wiffleball game.
The beds were all comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you’d need to make a great meal.
If you are after a log cabin feel with some space to spread out, that is walking distance to some great places (Spruce Point is beautiful walk and Boothbay Wharf was awesome) look no further.
Great property. As advertised no a/c. But lots of fans to cool off. I think it was the week we picked being mid July. Beach was a little farther than we thought. Harbor where everything is, was within arriving distance and was great. Lots of shops, places to eat- just HOT! Most places don't have a/c. Found good parking and good fish and chips. Went on a puffin tour out of the Harbor. All in all a good stay!

Wonderful Family Vacation
The lodge was a wonderful place for our whole family to spend a week. We had everything we needed to make great meals together, plenty of space to spread out and lovely grounds to play games and enjoy a fire at night. The pool table in Dick was a perfect place for the older kids to hang out and we ate outside most nights on the spacious deck. The pictures don't really show how charming the cabin is inside, with wonderful wood carvings and interesting maps everywhere. It's about a 20 minute walk to the harbor, but the Lobsterman's co-op was an easy walk and a great place to get lobster. The private beach is well worth a visit, although it's a bit of a walk. Boothbay Harbor is a great little town and fun to explore - lots of good restaurants. We had a wonderful week! Would love to go back.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for choosing our cabins to stay in with your family. We hope to have you back in the near future.
Nestled in the captivating coastal landscape of Maine, the cabins were thoughtfully stocked to provide comfort and convenience. They boasted a rustic yet modern aesthetic, combining original wood with contemporary amenities. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, as everything was spotless upon arrival.
As New Yorkers accustomed to walking, we were delighted to be able to walk to a beautiful, pristine beach! Equally appealing was the proximity to Boothbay. Just a short drive away, the town offers a delightful array of quaint shops and restaurants. It was the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.
The cabin complex also provided ample outdoor space for relaxation and recreation. A spacious deck with comfortable seating allowed for leisurely coffee mornings, picnic tables were perfect for family dinner, and the fire pit was cozy.
Additionally, Lindsey was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and attentive to every detail. The welcome package provided a wealth of information about the area, including recommendations for local activities and attractions. We look forward to coming back next summer!
Our relaxing vacation started as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The property is beautiful had everything we needed plus more. There was 5 of us that stayed in the Tom cabin and 2 adults that stayed in the Dick cabin. The homes were clean, beds very comfortable. Had everything you needed from fresh linens, games, to the kitchen being well stocked with dishes, etc. The water pressure in the showers were great. We spend our evenings around the fire pit enjoying star dazing and our days enjoying the sites around Boothbay Harbor and eating lobster. We stayed for a week and wish we could of stayed longer. I can't even think of one thing to complain about or to approve upon. Lindsay from Coastal Rentals was absolutely wonderful to deal with from the time we booked our reservation until we left. All our request were met. We are already thinking about next year.
We rented both cottages for our group of 10. We found them roomy, well equipped, with a beautiful large deck and fire pit. Long walk to beach, short walk to town. Loved the location!
This is the best Vrbo that I’ve ever stayed in…and I e stayed in a lot! Fully stocked for all occasions. Wonderfully comfortable beds, lots of fans for summer months. Stunning yard with fire pit and games for the kids. The deck is fantastic. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had a family of 5 in the Tom cabin and a family of 3 in the Dick cabin and it was perfect! Would absolutely stay here again!
Perfect venue for our group of mixed ages. Close enough to town to walk. Lots of space and indoor / outdoor area. Peaceful and cozy. Well supplied kitchen for cooking. We had a wonderful experience celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary!
The cabin was comfortable and well appointed. I had a couple of questions and the property manager responded immediately.
There were 6 adults and 2 children ages 2 and 5 and there was more than enough room for all of us with the two cabins for sleeping and living space in the main cabin. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
We had fabulous stay on Sun Set Rd. The two cottages have so many unique and interesting features...... we had a wonderful time exploring and trying to figure out theIr history. The cottages are well furnished with all that is needed ..... the kitchen especially. We are a family of ages 12 to 96 and the cottages met all our needs. A perfect place for a family vacation!
These spacious cabins allowed our family of eight to have a relaxing week in Boothbay Harbor, ME. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook meals at home. There was plenty of comfortable seating for all of us in both cabins. Downtown Boothbay Harbor was a quick drive (5 mins) and the private beach was a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk. The lack of air conditioning was not an issue since the weather was cool most of the time. We left the windows open and used the ceiling fans as needed. We loved the fire pit and the owner left us wood to burn. The pool table was fun as well.
Honestly, we couldn't have been more satisfied with the cabin and the communication with the owner. The cabin has everything you need...and more!...to spread out with your family and enjoy Boothbay Harbor.
The cabins were perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of space both inside and outside to accommodate all of our needs. The kids haven't stopped talking about it.
It was a joy spending two weeks enjoying one of our favorite Maine spots with our three children. My husband and I grew up in the area so it was extra special to have the space to host our family that still lives in Maine. We spent many nights by the warm fire and enjoyed copious amounts of fresh seafood. The beach was a hit with our kiddos and being within walking distance to town allowed us to enjoy our favorite restaurant McSeagulls several times. Thank you for providing a beautiful spot for us to escape the hot Austin, TX heat.
We rented both cabins for our yearly vacation away from the world with our loved ones to explore new places. This rental did not disappoint! It is such a beautiful destination made even better by two gorgeous, comfy and stocked cabins. The property is beautiful and we spent every evening out on the deck just enjoying the view. We were even able to watch the fireworks from the front of house. Bonus with that! There are outdoor games that were available such as ladder ball and corn hole, a nice fire ring and more than enough chairs and deck furniture for all! Pool table was fun to have and use. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils and more than enough dishes needed for cooking meals and enjoying those meals at a large family size table. Beds are so comfy, plenty of bath and beach towels, extra blankets and fans for the warm days. We never felt crowded, the cabins are decorated with so much fun stuff to look at and the place was so clean even with a back to back rental. Everything as advertised. This is how all VRBOs should be. Lindsay was our contact,
she made everything so easy and had great advice and tips for us about the area (breakfast spot, traffic warning and the best spot to see the fireworks). If we ever find ourselves back in Boothbay I would definitely aim to rent this place again. I can't deny that wish I could have stayed there forever.
Our family included three generations and everyone had a wonderful stay at the Tom and Dick cabins. We enjoyed being in the woods yet only 2 miles to great pier dining,
The house was immaculate and the manager and owners were attentive and responsive before and during our stay. Both cottages are unique with details left from the Sprucewool period. The owners have enhanced the stay with their attention to details to make guests welcome with updated appliances and recently renovated bathrooms ( all loved the oversized walk-in shower) The children age 7 & 10 enjoyed finding a new historical carving to ask about around every corner! The pool table was a plus on rainy days.
Having plenty of space for three families made reconnecting and celebrating summer 2021 a very memorable vacation! Thanks for making our 3 yr quest to find just the right place- picture perfect!
We loved this house! It was lovely and perfect for our extended family! The kids had so much fun playing in the yard (it’s big!) and we loved the big deck and the fire pit. This house had everything we could have wanted. We are already planning a return visit!
We came with two families between us five teens. It was the perfect location for exploring and activities. Having two houses was perfect for people to be able to go to different places to do things. Our teens /young adults loved the proximity to town and having their own pool hall. The houses were perfect!
We just returned from a great week at the Tom and Dick cabins. We selected this property for our group of ten which included 6 children between the ages of 5 and 16. Everyone loved it and we had a fabulous time. The cabins were spacious, clean and very well equipped. The kitchen, linens and towels were all very well stocked with good quality items. The property is in a very quiet location with a beautiful backyard for the kids to enjoy the outdoor games. The private beach that we had access to was beautiful with plenty of sandy beach space. This property will be on our list of favorites!
This home is cozy and comforting. Very spacious and clean, with plenty of amenities. Get right at home Only minor thing is no AC, days were hot but evening and night cooled down nicely! We would def book our stay again!
The town has so much to do and is beautiful!
