Nestled on the quiet shores of Upper Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, this modern 3 story lake home is pure joy! Set just six feet from shore, the privacy and relaxing atmosphere is a tranquil find for families and friends. Gazing upon the lakefront from the custom glass windows providing 180 degree panoramic views is an unforgettable experience. Immerse your party further with the optional pontoon rental!

The house sits on 140 feet of lakeshore. This lake is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, floating, skiing, paddle boards, canoeing, and kayaking. The lake has a variety of fish: pan fish, bass, walleye and pike.

A 2024 22’ pontoon is available for rent upon request through the homeowner mid April - mid October.

Your home is located about 3 miles from the St. Croix Casino

The property has 2 bedrooms with queen beds on the second and third floors. The top floor has a private deck with incredible views. The 2nd floor has a foosball table, and 180 degree breathtaking views of the lake as well as the full bath with laundry. On the main floor we have sectional couch that doubles as a sleeper sofa. The full bath is on the 2nd floor, and 1/2 bath on main.

There is a patio with seating for 6 or more on the rooftop of the garage. The view is breath taking. A fire pit along the lakeshore with ample firewood is ready for your enjoyment.

This property has access to 16+ miles of trails for hiking, running, ATVs and UTVs (cattail trail). This is a great property for kids, as the water is shallow, about 2.5-3 feet off the end of the dock. You have privacy but access to convenience. Perfect getaway for couples or families. This home is pet free/smoke free.

This cabin has an interesting layout. They really made good use of the space. For a small family this cabin is great! The lake is so close to the cabin with a cute fire pit nearby. We rented the pontoon for one day of our stay and were impressed with the cleanliness of the lake. Communicating with Dave was easy and it seemed like he really wanted us to have a fun weekend. I’d recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a relaxing time.

Turtle lake

The pictures truly do not do justice to how great this house was! This property was very well kept, owner was very responsive and nice if we had any questions. The lake itself is beautiful so having the option of a pontoon rental was perfect! My kids caught fish on every cast, the lake had a nice sand bottom making it perfect for them to swim from sun up to sun down! We will definitely be back!

Originally from Duluth, MN, we have travelled the country for two decades and finally settled in Western Wisconsin with our three kids soon to be four! Having a lake home has always been our dream. This year we’ve upgraded the dock and we have a new pontoon boat available for rent.

Why they chose this property

Proximity to entertainment, Turtle Lake is amazing, and our primary home is nearby, (about 60 minutes away).

What makes this property unique

One of the oldest original properties on the lake, the home was originally built by a well-known home builder in the area for private family use. the foundation is just eight feet from the shoreline. Originally a small cottage, the previously existing foundation allowed for only a 400 sq foot footprint, so this property was built vertically with each window and view angled to optimize the lakefront beauty. Each of the three stories provide breathtaking views of the lakefront, making this property the perfect location for families to enjoy lakefront luxury together!
