We did not have a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked clean.Cabin was very clean and also had extra cleaning supplies for us to use.Cabin was on a side road in a quiet area. Very close to a lot of the attractions! Would recommend!
Amazing little cabin! Spent a week here while celebrating our 15yr Anniversary, it allowed us to explore all the hiking trails and wine tasting we wanted with its location. Best part our fur baby got to join us and enjoyed fires at night. Hot tube was great for relaxing after a day of exploring!
I absolutely loved this place I will most definitely be back!! It’s so homey and beautiful perfect for someone looking for a quiet getaway and there so many things to do around the area!!

Great place to stay in this area and the hosts do a wonderful job of taking care of their customers and the home. Had everything you needed and felt comfortable there and knew you could reach out to hosts if needed, but I didn’t really need to!
Shower would not drain. No top sheet on bed. Hot tub not useable. Pull out couch not comfortable. Dirty rugs and dirty floor under rugs (moved rugs to pull out sofa bed). House numbers hard to read from road. We missed it twice. Pretty kitchen. Quiet location. That shower not draining was gross
We really enjoyed our stay at this tiny cabin. It was very clean and the owners thought of everything. I recommend checking out the nearby state parks Ferne Clyffe & Giant City. Will definitely encourage friends and family to check this place out!
The house was beautiful and cozy and the area was the perfect amount of secluded. Tons of hiking and beautiful views near by. Will definitely be returning at some point.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It looked just like the pictures. The property outside was well maintained. The inside was so clean and everything we used for cooking was easy to find. The bathroom was stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body was, and even dog soap. The Internet connection was great and the tv was easy to work. The fridge was the cutest fridge I’ve ever seen! We played washers and cooked dinner on the propane grill. The best part was the hot tub. It worked perfectly and was much needed for our getaway. I would book again over a hotel any day! Thank the hosts so much for maintaining a beautiful cabin and making it a cozy home away from home :)
Our weekend at this tiny cabin was exactly what we needed — a chance to shut the world off and simply be together. Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded setting, the cabin gave us the perfect escape from everyday noise and distractions. It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a strong Wi-Fi signal when we needed it — but honestly, we hardly touched our phones. Being so close to Ferne Clyffe State Park and surrounded by endless natural adventures made every moment feel full of possibility, even though there were too many trails and sights to fit into just one trip. We loved that we were also close enough to convenience stores to pick up groceries and grill at the cabin, making our time together even more relaxed and personal. This cabin was a peaceful, beautiful place to simply breathe, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. We will definitely be back.
This little cabin is tucked into a hillside and is very cute. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities of home, down to the salt and pepper. This was a test run mostly for our dog and worked out well. We did not use the hot tub, so I cannot comment on that, but I'm sure it would have been amazing. It is in a residential area very near Lake Egypt and the road was busy at times, but all the people in the area seemed very friendly and waved as they drove by. So fun! The cabin is close to Goreville and Ferne Clyffe State Park, which has great trails. It's a perfect little getaway.
I liked staying in this cabin. It was suoer cute and had lots of amenities provided by the host. It had a lot of personal touches. I was happy when I saw there was a fire put. It was a really nice little cabin. My only hangup was that it was so close to other homes, and there was a lot more traffic than you'd expect in a country neighborhood which was really noisy and took away from the ambience of it all.
Adorable cabin. Great location as far as being central to hiking trails. Check in was hassle-free. Hot tub was wonderful. Only issue was with the cleanliness outside. The outside seating, gas grill, and hot tub cover all looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. My wife had to get a rag to wipe down the chairs outside so she could sit. Whoever does the cleaning should wipe those things down after each stay. Just a minor complaint. Overall enjoyable stay.
My wife and I had the pleasure of spending one night away from the kids in this charming little cabin. We loved everything about it. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed a little fire by the creek. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. They’ve done a great job creating a lovely cabin. I hope we can stay again the future.
Our family of four (myself, husband, 5yo son, 7o son) had a fantastic stay at this tiny, cozy cabin! It was exactly as pictured—charming, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin was spotless, well-kept, and perfectly nestled in the woods, providing the peaceful retreat we were looking for.Communication with the owners was also excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made the whole process seamless. The location was ideal, with great hiking trails just a short distance away. The kids also loved the hot-tub! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing escape in nature, this is the place to be.We loved our stay and will definitely rent from them again! Highly recommend!
