This is just la great place to stay! Fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean at Tamarack Beach. Beautiful home. Very comfortable and roomy. Also, there is great beach equipment for a day at the beach. Also, across from the beach and an easy walk to Carlsbad Village shops and restaurants. As two small examples of how thoughtful the arrangements are: (1) Plenty of hangars in the closet. That may sound like a small thing, but it is all too common to get a VRBO with none or very few. (2) Extension cords with multiple outlets and USB connections. Again, a small thing, but it makes traveling with all the devices we need MUCH easier. We will DEFINITELY be back when we can.

This unit was pretty poorly maintained. The umbrella outside collapsed while we were sitting under it due to the extremely rusted/corroded umbrella holder it was in. The large metal “Haustay” sign located on the balcony of the unit above us fell off during our stay on to our patio during our stay because it was only being held up by small zip ties. There were a number of other things on the property that were poorly maintained or not properly working.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry the outdoor umbrella base failed during your stay. This was the only maintenance issue reported to us at the time, and the corroded base has since been replaced. We were also informed that an exterior advertising sign had come loose during windy conditions. The sign was removed and its mounting method was addressed to prevent a recurrence. Guest safety and property maintenance are important to us, and we take reports like these seriously. We regret that these issues affected your impression of the property. No additional maintenance concerns were reported during the stay, but we have since completed a broader inspection of the outdoor areas to identify anything else requiring attention.

My family stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. What an amazing time we had. The location is right across the beach, minutes to walk and easy to walk as well! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Spot for a Family

We had a wonderful time at this property! Everything was clean and there were thoughtful touches from makeup washcloths to a kids table. Communication with Alicia was great. The location was beautiful and close to everything. We loved our stay!

Dream home across from the beach

Alicia was absolutely wonderful in arranging our 3 night stay! We enjoyed all the amenities and especially loved the huge oceanfront patio w fireplace. The house has an open, airy feel and each room is beautifully decorated!

Perfect location to the beach

We loved staying at this rental! Spacious, clean, close proximity to the beach. Everything we could hope for when traveling as a family. The rooms and beds were comfy. The kitchen was clean and organized. The front patio was relaxing with a perfect view of the sunset. So happy we stayed here!

Great Location!

You can't beat the location of this unit, easy access to all Carlsbad has to offer! We enjoyed waking up to ocean views every morning and watching the sunset from the patio every evening! :)

Just fabulous

We had the most wonderful experience at this property. Everything was as described with beautiful furnishings, well stocked kitchen, great patio and comfy beds.
