Shady Pines is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home that offers a respite from the fast moving bustle of life and delivers you into a serene space that will allow your group to quickly and easily kick back and forget about time.

Directly in the front door is an open living room, kitchen, and dining space. The living room is complete with a plush sectional, tv, dvd player, gas fireplace, and fun games (even a golden girls bingo set)! The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range and the attached dining room can easily fit your whole group.

Through the main space and out on the deck are a handful of different seating areas, outdoor dining, and a wonderful gas grill.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level. The master king suite is thoughtfully furnished and has an attached bathroom. Addditionally, the queen bedroom on this level is just as comfortable.

The lower level of the home offers another bedroom with two queen beds, another full bathroom, and the ultimate fun garage space that is set up with a ping pong table and couches to crash on. If you want to experience how Cashiers and Glenville used to feel before all of the growth in the past 20 years, this is absolutely the home for you!

- No parties or unexpected guests sleeping over.
- If you damage something, let us know so that we can arrange for its replacement or repair.

This house is pet friendly, with a one time additional fee of $150. Maximum of 2 pets, dogs are the only pets permitted. Approved pets are not allowed on furniture (including beds and sofas) or in hot tubs at any time. Pets that are left unattended must be crated. Any damages will be charged to the card on file. Owners must clean up after their pet and dispose of all waste. No food or water is to be left outside; this will attract unwanted wildlife. Pet must be potty trained.

Spring Break!

This was the perfect place to relax and refresh. It’s very peaceful. The roads are a bit twisty, but that’s to be expected in the mountains. Everything was clean, in perfect working order, and the kitchen has any appliance you could possibly need! Were ready to back.

Perfect Getaway in WNC

Stayed in this house for a WCU reunion among friends. House was really clean, quiet, and owner was easy to get in contact with and talk to. Will be staying here again!

Mountain stay for family wedding

My husband and our adult kids stayed in Cullowhee for a family wedding. The property was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table and the fire pit as well! Would definitely stay here again!

Know the Road

This property is simply lovely and well—appointed. The porch is especially inviting. The only caveat is to understand that the drive from town to the top of Mount Cullowhee has lots of twists and turns. A Jeep, all-wheel vehicle, or SUV will be fine. Our Honda Civic struggled, so we only came down to campus and back up once per day.
