Just a 3 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida with surfing, fishing for Pompano, shelling and pristine soft sand. So close you can hear the waves. A few blocks west is the Intercoastal Waterway, with kayaking and fishing. Within a few miles are two state parks with canoeing, kayaking, bike paths and hiking. Our street is in a quiet neighborhood but close to town, shopping , restaurants and entertainment.

Spacious, freshly painted and spotless 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom family home with large rooms – living room, family room with fireplace, separate dining room, eat-in kitchen, 25 X40 sun porch with glass doors and screens, huge two car garage and large yard with shade trees. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and family room. The Master bedroom, with a recently updated bathroom has a king-size bed. One of the other bedrooms has a queen-size bed and the other has two twin beds. The kitchen is totally renovated with granite counter tops, maple cabinets and is fully equipped, and the linens are new and of the best quality. There are two flat screen TVs , two DVD players, and access to the internet with WIFI or broadband cable.

Just south lies Daytona Beach ( 8 miles) and the world famous Speedway. Orlando is 40 minutes away. St. Augustine, a beautifully preserved historic town is just 40 minutes north up A1A with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean the whole way.

The house is spacious and well cared for. It is quiet and has a big yard and garage, and is close to good restaurants. It is a few hundred yards from the beautiful beach- never crowded with wide sand and super clean.

AMAZING

SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Truly, the house was ENORMOUS. So much space for my friends and I to spread out. It was impeccably clean, and so close to the beach. Literally a 5 min walk! And it was treated like a hotel which was so nice. While we did do our best to tidy before leaving, it wasn't expected which made the check out process so much less stressful. Thank you for a truly amazing stay!

Perfect for two grannies

My co-grandmother and I were in town for our grandbaby's 1st birthday. I also was able to host my other grandson (age 3). This home was extremely roomy, clean, conveniently located and ever-so-kid friendly. Additionally, we had constant communication with our host. She was exceptionally responsive. This home made our trip perfect.

Best place ever

This home was the best kept, cleanest, and stocked home we have ever stayed at. We typical take everything we need but Kathy furnished everything right down to Free and Clear washing detergent. All the spices you could ever need. The place was spotless; there was no need to clean when we got there, as we often do. There were so many great restaurants with in 2 miles of the house. The house was clean and very dated. Here are my “I think you should knows”. The posters pictures were accurate. What you don’t see is the 1/2 bath is in the garage. A very small and unnecessary add on. Who goes to the bathroom in the garage? While I’m on the garage, it was quite junky. I don’t want to go to a house and see all of the junk even if it is in the garage. It was so junkie there is no way you can get 2 cars in there. The other thing is that there is only a TV in one bedroom. Even the master had no TV. Also the outlets are not in a convenient locations. The shower in the master never got hot enough and the spray was weak. The other bath was the opposite. I also didn’t like that there were no check out instructions. I’ve stayed at many rentals and this was unusual. The pillows need to be changed. The garage remote was missing. Overall it served our purpose and she did allow us to do a late checkout. We asked for an hour. Now you know.

The house looks exactly like the photos- spacious ( 2200 square feet) very clean and high end furniture that is NOT slick and modern. The kitchen and master bath are renovated with very high end finishes. The half bath is in the garage. There are personal things in the huge garage Because I use the house frequently. The communications from renter were borderline rude. The checkout instructions are on VRBO- apparently they did not check. The house was left a mess, with trash everywhere and 25 towels used by 3 people over 3 days. I would not rent to these people again.

Spacious and comfortable

My grandchildren and myself enjoyed our stay. The property was well kept and very clean . Also the kitchen was well equipped. Close to everything we needed. And of course the beach was great and close. Really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house with a wonderful glass enclosed huge screened porch. Couldn’t have been any better.

We live full time in Miami but chose Ormond Beach as a second home because it is so tranquil and beautiful. The beach is wide and clean and never crowded. There are turtle hatchings in the summer- a real thrill to watch.
