Cottage was clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and was conveniently located near downtown New London. Barbara was an excellent host; she sent instructions for check-in & check-out and was very responsive to messages. We already talked about returning to this rental!

For whatever reason, we did not realize our rental was pet friendly. While it was clean in the sense that it was dust & dirt free, the living room furniture smelled like a wet dog and we ended up sharing my allergy meds just to calm down our itchy eyes and leaky noses just to make it through the evening. The pros: This is a great location in a quiet setting with a lot of recreation near by. We made ourselves as comfortable as we could, but left feeling like we paid a three-star rate for a one-star stay. This would be a wonderful setting for those travelling with animals, but that wasn't us.

Absolutely lovely location! Very quiet and serene. Hiking right outside the door. The babbling Brooke and hooting owls? What more do you need?

It is a cozy cottage with all of the amenities you will need.We were there to ski Sunapee and it is 20 minutes away on a back road drive. The surrounding area including a running brook along the property looks like it will be wonderful in the spring, summer, and fall.
