We stayed in cabin number 2 for the second year in a row and overall enjoyed the stay. However, we did not sleep well at all because the beds are in bad need of new mattress and boxsprings. If you can imagine trying to sleep on a queen size hammock with two people, that pretty much describes our sleeping experience. We were both constantly rolling to the middle of the bed and bumping into one another all night long. Not to mention my back was so stiff in the morning it was difficult to get out of bed. We really love the cleanliness of the cabin and all the amenities the host provides. The check in and check out process is very smooth and the hosts are very accommodating. The location on Highway 55 right next to the Brule River is very convenient. I would recommend this stay for anyone needing a quiet getaway for two adults or a small family. Hopefully the host can upgrade the mattress and boxspring to make future stay amazing!
