Thank you for your review! It's a very peaceful area, a great place for a getaway in nature. I'm sorry you felt the price was high. I do take account of other properties in the area to make sure we are charging a reasonable and competitive rate for a home that sleeps that number of guests. As for the cleaning fee, while it may seem high, it takes at least 6 to 8 hours to clean the house depending on how it was left. The cleaning company follows all safety protocol cleaning and disinfecting. If a private homeowner rents their home and cleans it themself they may be able to charge less. But a cleaning company needs to pay the cleaners, purchase the cleaning supplies, cover their costs, and have some overhead in order for a business to be feasible. Most people don't realize the work that goes into a full house cleaning for vacation rentals, and the things cleaners have to deal with sometimes. Thank you again for your feedback and your stay!

However, this is the first I’m hearing of these concerns, as I reached out multiple times during your stay and received no response. Reporting issues promptly would have allowed me to address them immediately. Trash is collected weekly, but I could have arranged extra pickup if requested. We rely on guests to clean and return dishes properly, as it’s not feasible to check every item. Pest services are in place, and no previous reports of bugs have been made. Photos would have helped us investigate. Towels and linens are replaced as needed. The listing photos are current, with no changes to furnishings or amenities. I appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve. Reviews like this can impact my Superhost status, the ability to rent this home, and my livelihood. Prompt communication and photo documentation of any issues are essential to validate concerns and address them effectively. Additionally, VRBO customer service is always available to assist guests and ensure a comfortable stay.
