Carla was a great host and had great recommendations for nearby restaurants and pastry shops. She arranged a driver to meet us at the airport upon our arrival, which was a huge plus! The location is on the backside of the Vatican and good/bad it was perfect for us. We didn’t really use the kitchen or washer/dryer but it was available and clean. Easy access to the metro station made it easy to see the Trevi fountain and colosseum. We would stay here again.

When we arrived, the house greeted us personally and went through all the amenities and even gave us some great information about sightseeing in Rome in the local area. The location was amazing and we are very happy to see how clean the place was.

Loved the location. So close to the farmer market in the morning and the subway station just a few blocks away. Carla was great in arranging a car to pick us up at the airport when we landed which was key. After having waited over 1.5 hrs for customs and then exited to a super long taxi line knowing we didn’t have to wait again was a wonderful relief. Highly recommend! A/C worked great and beds were comfortable.

Location, location, location. You can't get closer to the Vatican Museum. A nice plus to be able to walk this entire area. Good, small family restaurant a few doors down and easy grocery shopping around the corner. Would stay again!

Carla’s place was perfect for 2 couples. We had our own spaces with a common area in the middle that accommodated all of us comfortably. Carla met us at check in and gave us restaurant recommendations that we enjoyed. She also arranged for us to have a driver from the airport. The place was close to groceries and a wonderful market, shopping and Vatican City. We could see the Vatican museum from out our window. We would not hesitate to stay again. Grazie!

Superb accommodation in a perfect location

Situated within easy reach of the Vatican museums and St.Peter's Basilica and close to public transport to all the places we wanted to visit. The accommodation itself is spacious and comfortable with all modern conveniences while Carla is "the hostess with the mostest". conveniences.

This property was exactly as described. We were literally steps from the entrance to the Vatican Museums and a short walk to the metro. Carla was an exceptional host. She met us at the property to give us the keys and to explain everything. She even gave us a map of Rome so we understood where we were going and which metro stops were the closest. She even sent me some recommendations for local restaurants. Carla even arranged for her driver, Massimo, who was also great, to pick us up from the airport. He was cheaper than most shuttle services from the airport. I highly recommend this property.

We stayed for 4 nights. Located within 1 block of the Vatican and tour start location. Carla (property manager) was great arrainged travel for us fro airport to VRBO and again from VRBO to Cruise port. She was also very helpful with local dinning locations. We had a great time and woulf definately stay here again.
