Adorable private bungalow on quiet horse and hay farm near Mesa Verde
Just 3 miles north of Cortez near Hwy 491, this quiet ranch retreat offers a fully furnished equine themed guest apartment with generous parking. One queen bed and a full-sized futon can sleep up to 4 comfortably. Make lavish meals in the full kitchen or check out several fantastic restaurants in town. Enjoy panoramic views of Sleeping Ute Mountain and Mesa Verde. Keep an eye out for bald and golden eagles. Don’t be surprised if the horses wander by to greet you! Ideal central base camp for mountain bike Mecca Phil’s World, Sand Canyon, Boggy Draw and more! Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee. We offer simple, zero contact check-in so all you need to do is arrive and relax! Our driveway is circular and can easily accommodate large trailers and moving vans.
The guest quarters consists of a private 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment with a complete kitchen that sits adjacent to our shop. There is a fold out full-sized futon in the living room to accommodate additional guests with a flat screen TV and excellent WiFi. Please do not leave your pet unattended inside the apartment or allow him/her on the furniture as other guests may have allergy issues.
Short-term horse boarding is available with a 100’ x 200’ outdoor riding arena. We also have 30 amp RV hookups and trailer parking. Ask us for details.
We live onsite in a separate residence and are always available by text or phone calls. We're happy to help with any questions or concerns but like to give guests their space. If you need advice on local mountain bike/hiking trails or where to play pickleball in town, just ask!
