Sounds Perfect - Bright and airy sound front home w/dock. 2 blocks to the beach!

Incredible sunset views from sound front deck AND a short two block walk to the wide open sandy beaches of EI! Open living/kitchen area. Sound front dock to fish from or for easy access for kayaking, paddle boarding or just watching the crabs and rays at low tide! The peace that comes from being in your new Happy Place!

Accommodations for 6, boat slip and wave runner lifts and fish cleaning station at end of pier.

You will love this large open floor plan with the central area of the home being all open living, kitchen, dining and reading nook. The entire left side of the home is a massive Master Suite with en suite bath. The right side of the house has a door that can separate it from the living area and has a full bath shared between the Queen Bedroom and bedroom with 2 twin XL beds, comfortable for either adults or kids.

Our home is less than 5 miles from Emerald Isle town center where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, mini golf, post office, and Bogue Inlet Pier. Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are all easy drives and are fun to explore. Hammocks Beach State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Fort Macon offer great activities for the whole family. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path that stretches the length of Emerald Isle!

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Please rinse sand off of and return any beach items to the storage closet underneath and lock
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please don't rearrange furniture in the home. No smoking or vaping in the home or anywhere on the property.
Kitchen counter tops are Marble. Only soap and water to clean them and wipe any spills right away please.
There is almost always a wonderful breeze blowing but please keep all doors and windows closed. Door sensors will turn off the HVAC if left open.

Beautiful getaway

We loved staying at this house on the water! Amazing views of the sunset and lots of fishing on the dock. Super close to the beach as well and the house has lots of things to do like paddle boarding and beach chairs to use, we loved it! The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely like to come back!

Lovely home on the sound

This property is well maintained and is the perfect amount of space for three to 5 adults. We enjoyed time on the backdeck. The view was beautiful. It was a very short walk across the street (very easy to cross even with small children) to the beach.

Lovely place with awesome views and comfortable beds. The place has been updated and everything seems new including a gorgeous dock. A short easy walk to two beach accesses and a host who is very responsive. We have already requested a week next year.

We could sit on that porch overlooking the sound and dock for hours. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The house was great,updated and decorated tastefully. Penny was very prompt answering questions. Hope to return again.

Not your typical EI rental

For those looking for a little more 'high-end' experience than your typical EI rental, look no further. Luxe finishes in abundance presented in a soothing, calm palette. Breathtaking views of the water - top shelf all the way around. Quick walk to the beach. Home was better than presented and provided an excellent backdrop for the two of us to bring in the New Year!

A nice place on the water

The sound side of the island gives and takes away. You can't really swim in the sound (or I didn't feel good about it in any case). But it's lovely to look at. In some ways better than the ocean side, as it is just an extra ~500 feet to the water, and you have basically no foot traffic on our side. We had my parents, my sister, and my son at the property, and it was very comfortable for the five of us. Bedding was good. The pillows were decent (which is all you can ask for nowadays -- hotel pillows are generally rubbish, so my expectations for VRBO pillows is always tempered, but I had no problems with these ones). The tile in the master bath was objectively great, and on theme. The paintings were nice. Great deck to sit on and watch the world go by. No problems on check-in or check-out.

Paradise!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful long weekend at this property! The home was just as advertised - clean, spacious, with beautiful views of the sound. The sunsets were spectacular and we saw many wading birds, as well. Beds were comfortable. Family room has great seating. We could not think of a single thing to improve. And, the owner is lovely. We will absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Sound Front Home!

My family of 4 stayed in this lovely home and enjoyed every minute! It had everything we needed! Very clean, updated and beautifully decorated. The views from the deck overlooking the sound was amazing! So calm and tranquil. We felt very relaxed and cozy. The short walk to the beach led directly to a public access. Very convenient! The host communicated very well and was so nice! We will book this home again!
