Wonderful house - very roomy, clean and well stocked throughout. View is incredible! Location is private but also convenient to hiking, shopping and restaurants. We had fabulous pizza from La Strada in Lake Lure. Melissa was a great host, very responsive. We would definitely stay there again

Thank you so much for staying with us Trina! The cleaning team mentioned you left the house in wonderful condition and that is so appreciated. We’d love to host you back anytime!
It was a little weekend trip for our little kids birthday, we had family stay the weekend and do fun activities. The cabin was so nice and cozy; the view is amazing. We were in close range to everything we wanted to go do; and the nature around is pretty. One of the best places we have stayed at.

Melissa was very helpful and gracious the whole trip and checked on us periodically through email just making sure we were enjoying your stay. The location of this cabin, the size of the cabin the cleanliness of the cabin was all 10 stars!!! This was our first time in the lake lure area, and we had a great time and would love to go back to this cabin again!

Robert, thank you so much for your kind review and for staying at Wild Valley Lodge. You were a pleasure to host and we’d welcome you back anytime!!
We had a great time during our stay. The house was easy to access from the main road in Lake Lure and the view from the deck was stunning.
Our group included 6 senior citizens (5 ladies and 1 gentleman) and the ladies stated that it was the cleanest house we had rented in the six years that we have taken a trip similar to this to the mountains.
Melissa (the Host) was always available to respond to a question or anything that needed to be clarified.
The driveway is steep and it can be challenging with someone with limited mobility. Our group had no problems accessing the property. Once inside we found the house to be very convenient and accommodated all of our needs.
We don’t know if we will return to Lake Lure next year but if we do, we will certainly reach out to Melissa to see if her house is available. Sadly we had to leave but everyone wished we had had more time to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
Thank you, Melissa, for allowing us to enjoy your house and for your care and concern for those who stay there.
