We had a nice, relaxing stay overall. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short getaway. The lake itself was small, peaceful and easy to paddle board on.

My family enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for a small family. The lake was on the smaller side, but perfect for the amount of boats that where using it and for our kayaks/SUP board. Also, it was a nice 1.5 mile loop with little elevation around the lake by roads for our bikes, walk and runs.

Great swimming and fishing spot for the younger kids. Plenty of small bass and bluegill to keep the kids occupied. The property manager, Brandon, that lived on the lake was super helpful. He even helped us get our wet firewood going so we could enjoy our evening smores. It was a great stay.

Great vacation

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and comfortable. My family loved the beach and enjoyed the bonfire at night. It was perfect for our family of 5.

Overall, this was a very cute and cozy place to stay for a small group of people. Just my girlfriend and I stayed here toward the end of the week and through the weekend.Pretty location on Little Sand Lake in Ashland/Grant, MI.

We had a wonderful time

This cottage was perfect for the 4 of us! We were comforable and the cottage had everything we needed! I would definitely recommend this cottage! Id say i will be back but we try to go to a new place each summer otherwise id be back!!

Relaxing Family Weekend

This was our second time visiting Sand Lake and we are looking forward to it again next year. Our littles love going out on the dock and fishing, as well as playing in the water and on the private sandy beach. In a search of family friendly activities nearby, we found several options and are already planning our trip for next year! :)

We shared this house with another family (4 of us total) and it was perfect. We had a softball tourney in Muskegon. The distance wasn’t bad from the field and Swimming area was great for when the girls got back. Thanks for hosting us!
