About this property

Secluded Mountain Home in the Pines

Welcome to our gorgeous cabin in the pines! The house sleeps 13 people. 10 spots in fully made beds, and 3 additional couch-beds. The 3 additional foam couch-beds add comfortable sleeping for 3 people, and even more can fit on these foam beds if they are children. The foam couch-beds do not require sheets and therefore will not be dressed in bedding sheets. There are plenty of spare blankets and pillows for anyone who chooses these couch-beds as a sleeping option. The foam you-beds are shown in the loft photos, they are low to the ground, and fold out to accommodate cozy sleeping, but are folded out mattresses that are on the floor (check photos!). These are incredibly cozy and fun beds, but may be found difficult for any older folks or grown-ups with ailments, simply because it is low to the floor, it may be hard for them to get in and out of bed because they are considered floor beds when full opened for sleeping. -Please send an inquiry if these beds are of concern to you and I'll get back to you with further photos and information.

There is plenty of extra lounging & sleeping areas if you include the large living room couch and the cozy foam couch-beds.

About the host

Hi! I’m Stacey. I live in North Phoenix but spend several months each year in Flagstaff. This is our second VRBO home, we have been in the home rental business for 14 years. I am a realtor and mother of 5, married to my best friend James. Flagstaff is definitely our favorite place. It is home away from home to us.

Why they chose this property

We decided to buy land in Flagstaff nearly a decade ago. We fell in love with the huge property, pine trees and especially the small flowing natural creek that runs through our property. Kachina Village is our favorite part of Flagstaff. It’s just 5 minutes from town, yet it’s extremely quiet and private. The people in town are wonderful and always helpful should you ever find yourself in need. It really has that small town charm full of smiling faces. Our little town has everything we need, a gas station, one fast food restaurant, an excellent convenience store, a small grocer and our most favorite is the park. It’s a favorite for the kids. Uniquely, Kachina Village also has wetlands and county property that is protected and has some very interesting historical sites. It’s truly small town charm at its finest!
