Private house, private pool, safe, nice neighbors, simple home with great location to downtown Las Olas. Also 15 mins from airport ,beach ,shopping, clubs and bars, restaurants and more. We are 30 minutes from Miami. Our home is clean, private parking a garden, no camaras, check in and check out by code. we have fruit trees in the pool area enjoy the mango's and avocado's.
Sorry, I have to say fort Lauderdale city is a place of color, and if that's a problem pls don't book our home. Thank you .

Convenient Location

The stay was good. The property is comfortable with everything we needed, including the pool and the extra pool table. Location was great close to everything. Maybe a more neutral and minimal decorations, wall colors and style would’ve made us love this place more, but it’s ok. Not big deal.

Perfect getaway

I wish i could have stayed longer at this lovely home. Everything was so clean and well stocked right down to laundry detergent for washer and dryer. The pool was so refreshing. It's close by to malls, publix, the beach, and all the various restaurants the area has to offer. The pool table is beautiful but we didn't have time to play. The landscaping is like a tropical paradise. I even realized i had left my iPhone behind and they were kind enough to find it and offered to mail it back to me. Ms Jackie came over as soon as we checked in to make sure everything was OK. Ive stayed in many vrbo homes and this is at top of my list. Hoping to visit again soon.

Nice location and home is as pictured but was not clean. I always bring Lysol wipes when I travel and everything I wiped came back black/brown from bar stools to table/counter so not sure what the cleaning fee covers. Floors were not swept or mopped either as I had my own vacuum mop. Knowing the set up of the pool having trees covering almost half (which is nice for shade) however to only clean on Monday and not have at least an automated cleaner for in between made the pool experience a lot less enjoyable. I spent more time cleaning the pool of dead bugs/debris, leaves and anything else that blew in from the surrounding area. They did provide a new unused net but highly suggest the owner gets a small automatic cleaner for the guest that don’t arrive until the weekend. Loved the semi high ceilings which made the home feel a little more spacious. Location and listing is accurate and neighbor Mrs. Jackie was so very sweet and welcoming even though we arrived a little later than expected after 7pm. The owner should invest in a cleaning company or inspect the property for standard before guest arrive. A lot of culture present in the art work which was beautiful but paint job needs to be retouched esp with red being such a standout color.

First Time in FL

It was a little bday getaway. House is nice the mosquitoes were hungry lol. The pool was a little dirty with leaves and things falling from the trees. I clean a portion of it so we could get in and later on someone came and completely cleaned it. Very attentive we appreciated it.

Great place to stay!

If you’re looking for a place to stay near Fort Lauderdale then this is a great option! The location is in a great spot that makes it not too far from the beach, food options, and other activities. The house is cozy and filled with fun options to keep busy. The hosts are responsive and helpful! Overall, great stay and hosts!

Nice neighbors, we had to washe the floor 3 times because it was so dirty. bathroom ok, very dark house. The curtain were falling in all the room, cockroah (5). We wont go back in this house

Never stayed in Miami before when booking did not know about the neighborhood as it was very ruff

After the night we left I sent a message to property owner the neighborhood was very ruff we were approached 2 separate times by two men trying to sell us stuff. I messages the host we would like a refund for the two nights we were not able to stay.

Spot before Cruise

When we first got there the house smelled so strong if paint (must have freshly painted) and it was closed up so the smell was horrible. We opened the doors and had to air it out. Beds are super uncomfortable for us but that is just a opinion. Everyone likes different feeling beds. But the pool area made the house fantastic. So relaxing! Was nice to have a place with washer and dryer. They worked great. House was "clean" but my white socks were black from walking around the house. Would book again if needed.

Confused & Extremely Disappointed

I’ll start by saying I never write reviews but I feel compelled to let others know of our recent experience. I read all the great reviews ahead of our stay when looking for which home to stay in with my family (spouse & 2 young kids). I title this review *Confused* because what we experienced was nothing like what others said! Cleanliness was extremely poor. The thing the kids were looking forward to the most was the pool but it was not cleaned the whole first day we were there (pool guys truck broke down which I understand happens but why wasn’t the pool cleaned in preparation for our stay?) The neighbor's sister came over & cleaned what she could-those 2 ladies were extremely sweet! Locks on closet doors so no room to unpack clothes in 1 of the 2 rooms which that room hadn’t been cleaned in some time according to the dust caked on the fan and vents throughout the home. What made us leave a day early from our stay was seeing a Huge cockroach climb up our bedroom wall after already getting a couple bugs out of the bed. We stay in FL every year & this was the worse experience we’ve had. I contacted the owner & asked for a partial refund in a kind manner to which she would not even consider since her response to me saying we saw the cockroach was “it’s Florida there’s bugs”. I know there’s bugs but pretty sure “cockroaches” are in their own league! We had to find a hotel for our last night & spend an additional 180 due to the unsatisfactory conditions. Be warned!

Quiet and Unique

Our stay was great! The neighbors were nice and helpful. The house was clean. It is very cold but they had plenty of blankets. The cat visitors were a bit scary because I’m terrified. The last night my kids had a big scare from them. I know some reviews started this area isn’t the greatest however, the road is extremely quiet. Nobody bothers you it is nice and calm. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time. My children played in the backyard and loved it. We even ate at some of the restaurants in the neighborhood. No problem at all. The decor was extremely unique. It definitely gave my husband and I a conversation hahaha. But we enjoyed it. Lastly I really appreciated being able to be comfortable as if I was home. I recently had open heart surgery. I can’t lay down. So the couch and recliner were amazing. Thank you so much. This was a major plus. Thank you!

Terrible Experience

I could not stay at this house. The house stunk of mothballs so bad I got A headache and it bothered my throat. I spoke with the host and told her I could not stay there. I asked the owner to call me. No one ever called me. The pool area was filthy. The floors in the house were dirty. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. I called Vrbo and they were no help at all. Sevens and have not heard a word. Will not recommend this house or Vrbo. Very unsatisfied customer. I pay a lot of money and never stayed there.

Terrified to be in the Badlands

We arrived to find the neighborhood very sketchy house had bars on all the windows. We went to Walmart and saw a patrol car asked the policeman what the area was like. Gave him the address. He said you are in the badlands you will be targeted. it is unsafe to even walk outside that house. We went back to the house grabbed our belongings and left. We went to a hotel. We did not return back to the house. When we spoke with the owner, he said we were racist. He said that why would we listen to the police. And that he would not refund our money. Verbo was not sympathetic to our traumatic ordeal and did not offer any assistance in the matter. We were on our own in a place we did not know. They did not assist us in trying to find a different place to stay.

Did not live up to standards

Arrived late in the evening, walked in excited for a good night's rest and was welcomed with musty, stuffy air. My allergies kicked into high gear. The beds were made with just a flat sheet with 2 kids size thin coverlet. Looked around for more substantial blankets but didn't find any. I did reach out to host but it was about 11pm so she didn't respond. Looking around the place more looked through the blinds and the dust on the window was unacceptable. The box spring of both beds were filthy. My sister and I were exhausted at this point and didn't feel comfortable laying on the bed. After a long day of travel all you want to do a lay on a nice clean smelling comfortable bed and room. This was not the experience I had and I learned an expensive lesson because I ended up at a hotel. I wish I could upload pictures of what the place really looked like went I arrived. The host tried to make it right the following morning but it wasn't just a quick cleaning solution.

Fun packed!

Let me start by saying the pictures do not do this space justice! The space is much bigger than the pictures perceive it to be. The backyard is gorgeous, the pool is perfect for both children and adults and there's still a lot of backyard space with a variety of fruit trees. When you've had enough of the pool, there's the pool table and darts inside, my children were never bored! Also, the neighbor, Ms. Jackie, and the cleaner Kim are super friendly! They made sure to check on us to make sure everything was good and we were enjoying ourselves. That being said, there are some downsides. To begin with, this is not the most ideal location. Though overall the neighborhood was quiet and no one bothered us, plus we felt safe given that Ms. Jackie and her family always looked out for us, it is clear that it is a low income neighborhood. However, it is very close to the highway and a lot of attractions, so if proximity is a priority for you, this could be a good choice. The house itself can use some updating but given the amenities provided, I found it worth the price. I will also add that we were there for two weeks and the pool cleaner didn't come even though he was suppose to come at least once. Thank goodness for Kim who checked with us to see if the pool was cleaned and when I informed her that it wasn't, she came and cleaned the pool. We did also have an issue where the AC wasn't really cooling the place but the owner was able to get the AC tech to come that same day, he did fix it and the house got slightly cooler, but if you like it very cold at night, it's not happening! Overall, if you're looking for a property that's close to highways and attractions that you won't be bored at, with friendly neighbors who make sure you're okay without being too invasive, this is the property!

This property was exactly has described. For the simplicity of the property it was all that it could’ve been for this 4 day 3 night trip. The location was great. The pool was the main purpose for booking and it was wonderfully peacefully beautifully PPPPEEERRRFFFFEEEECCCCTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!! Im not sure if the pool was heated but it felt like it was during the day and night. The added fruit trees were a great plus mangoes are one of my favorite fruit to eat. This stay was everything I could’ve imagined. I have no complaints at all. When in Florida it’s definitely going to Florida and being from here I know what to expect so this was magnificent. Getting in contact with the property manager was extremely easy and no hassle at all. I will definitely be staying again no ifs and or buts about it no questions asked with no hesitation.
