Locationed very close to Wichita Mountain Preserve. Bed were very comfortable, plus recliner a nice touch after traveling all day, Loved the room decoration with the longhorns. Extremely clean definitely recommend.
This was a wonderful and unique place to stay!!! It was extremely clean and well kept and offered its own activities. It was a fun adventure just walking around and seeing everything the host has there and the love thought they have put into what they created.
The lazy buffalo was probably the nicest place I've ever stayed! The bed was comfy, the shower was amazing, and just the cleanliness of it all was perfect!!!
This is a convenient location with access to the Wichita Wildlife Refuge (which is beautiful), clean and fun themed room. The hostess was very responsive when we needed her! Definitely recommend.
Really cozy little spot off the highway in Cache. The host had great response time. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy. It was also very close to the Wildlife Refuge and made for easy commuting back and for. Nice place to stay!
Lazy Buffalo was the perfect home base to explore the Wichita Wildlife Preserve and surrounding areas.Owners were wonderful, and the themed cabins were full of hidden touches. Left rested and relaxed. Already recommending to family and coworkers to stay at.
We have stayed at the Last Buffalo every year for the CMA State Rally, for the last 3 years. We plan to continue this tradition, as the Lazy Buffalo is a great place to stay. Very clean, quiet, inexpensive, and very relaxing. We enjoy it very much. Thank you!

Great place!
Very convenient for visiting Wichita National Wildlife Refuge.
Cute decor and some nice amenities, like a few complimentary snacks, extra blankets, and bottled water.
But Note: Bring microwavable plates/bowls/cups if you plan to microwave anything. Only a few Styrofoam plates/cups, plasticware, and napkins are provided.
The host was great at the communication. Only issue was that I could not find the lock box easily that stores the room key. I am short and it was at a bit high place from my view. A kind guest helped me to locate it. The lodge was close to the Whicita Mountains so that I was able to go back and forth to enjoy the scenery during daytime, sunset, and sunrise.
Truth in advertising! Each of the 8 cabins I rented for my family reunion in the Wildlife Refuge were tastefully decorated with Art and furnishings in different Western frontier themes. Impeccably clean. It was easy to be together to play old fashioned games or get some peace and star gazing in the wide open sky. I was unnecessarily worried about the check-in/out. Julie was always immediately responsive. My only suggestion is to have baby beds available to be reserved ahead of time. It was a uniquely pleasant experience that set the mood for the whole reunion.
