#13 Lost Shaker of Salt-Uncertain Lodge and Inn

Uncertain Lodge and Inn is a local, family owned Inn, located on a picturesque piece of land on beautiful Caddo Lake. While #12 Dock Holiday is not located directly on the water, it is only a quick 0.5 mile drive from the water. We also have plenty of space for boat parking.
#13 Lost Shaker of Salt features 2 full size beds, and one bathroom, which is very nice and comfortable for anyone looking for a cozy place to get away.
All linens are provided, including sheets, comforters, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We provide a 2-burner electric cook top for your convenience, however, you must bring your own cooking utensils. We also have a very welcoming pavilion with a table, and a charcoal grill (charcoal and lighter fluid not provided). This area is great for bringing groups together for dinner, entertaining, or just for relaxing and unwinding.
#13 Lost Shaker of Salt also has a dorm size refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker (with coffee provided). Small bars of soap are also provided for your use.
All of the rooms at Uncertain Lodge and Inn are non-smoking, however, you are welcome to smoke outside on the premises.
Uncertain Lodge and Inn is located 0.5 miles from a popular boat launch, Johnson's Ranch Marina.
Time spent at Uncertain Lodge and Inn is sure to give you a relaxing escape, from grilling, fishing, boating, and playing games in the lake front yard. With Caddo Lake being a 25,400-acre lake, you will never run out of memory making activities. You can expect great fun, with friends and family, making you want to stay longer with every visit.

I checked in on a thur and left Sunday. Excellent place to say that is clean and safe with boat parking. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone. If you stay on the back side you can watch deer and foxes every night and morning

2 star Motel. Last resort option.

The place was clean and somewhat maintained. There was some flooring issues that need to be addressed. The free boat usage was great, just bring your own life jackets. The outdoor amenities was occupied by the staff with loud music. That was not my idea of a relaxing evening

No information of wifi. Floor peeling up at front door and in the bathroom. Bad odor of mildew or something. Towels dirty, bathroom dirty. TV was not mounted on the wall and there was an extra one just sitting on the floor in the corner. Cleaning lady took remote to get batteries and never returned it to us I would definitely not stay here again.

Overall, we had a good visit however, when we arrived, there was a complication with the booking and so we didn’t get to say at the place we originally booked they did move us fairly quickly and we were able to get in but then after saying one night we came back after an exhausting day out hiking and Being active late at night to find a note on the door asking us to move again because they had double booked so me and too exhausted children had to move all of our belongings into the very next door and it was just a little exhausting and disappointing but overall it was clean nice and we had a good stay

I had a GREAT time at the Uncertain Lodge & Inn!! Keith Tally, the owner, is the host with the most! He is so kind and was ready to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. My room was clean and well kept with plenty of supplies. I found out if I needed anything, we could just ask Keith and he would get it for me. I had forgotten some kitchen items for our cookout and Keith very graciously provided what we needed from his own home. So sweet! I was traveling with a group but had a room to myself and felt perfectly safe. Everything we needed was within walking distance or easy driving distance. It was a lovely, relaxing stay!

Leanne and I both grew up in Marshall Texas - in fact, we grew up directly across the street from one another. Our friendship started early on. Leanne left town to pursue a degree in nursing, and I remained in town, pursuing my dream of living on Caddo Lake. I have been to many lakes over the years, but I have always had a passion and love for Caddo Lake. I moved here to Caddo Lake in 2020, where I began making my dreams come true. The only thing missing, was my dream girl to share in the experience with me. Leanne and I rekindled our friendship long distance, as she was living in the DFW area. In April 2025, we married on our property here on Caddo Lake, and she and our son Parker, now call Caddo Lake "our home", and we enjoy making memories every day!
We look forward to meeting all of our guests, and helping you create memories as well!

When I saw this property with such stunning views and perfect access to the lake that I love, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to share the gift of Caddo Lake with everyone else. Our property is located in one of the most popular areas of the lake, offering guests the most optimal experience. Leanne, Parker, and I live a half mile away, allowing us to visit with the guest and share the history of Caddo Lake everyone.
