Roberta’s Place, Sanctuary in the Pines

Roberta's Place is a private getaway that provides all you need for a great stay in Flagstaff, no matter your reason for visiting. Roberta's Place is named after Jacob's late mom. She was such an inspiration to all she knew and our hope is that her legacy may live on with a memorable trip to Flagstaff.
The space, Roberta's Place, is a fully functioning one bedroom apartment complete with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer. It is built on to the back of our home. You will park in our driveway (1 space provided) and walk along the house to your own private entrance.
Guest access
The entire space is closed off and private from our primary residence. We are on site should you need assistance, but there are no shared spaces besides the driveway and patio.
Other things to note
We are a family with kids that live on the property. We do our best to keep any noise to a minimum. Our kids enjoy meeting new friends, should you have kids too!

Fun in Flag

This was homemade while we visited the observatory, arboretum, Snowbowl, scenic drives, shopping venues and more. Had lots of fun during an escape from desert heat.

Nice and clean place. Hosts left skittles as welcoming gift and nice set of directions of expectations. Travel crib in bedroon closet on top shelf if you need one. Boosterchair on stool, serves as the high chair. Our child is actually 2 and a half. Most of activities geared to slighly older children, in drawer of coffee table, found by inquisitive 2 year old.

Very Comfortable stay in beautiful Flagstaff

Lovely property and very welcoming host. Everything was very clean and comfortable including an easy to use washer and dryer. Location in Flagstaff was perfect for visiting the surrounding sites. We loved the delicious recommendation for pizza!

This guest house is so cute. It was amazingly clean and cozy. Very well decorated with really great touches. Comfortable and cute. I would stay here over and over again.

Flagstaff Gem!

Lovely accommodations that are close to the city and many sightseeing destinations outside Flagstaff. Gaby is very responsive and professional in her communications, and she has literally provided EVERYTHING you need for your stay, including a fully stocked kitchen! We really enjoyed our stay here, and hope to be back in the future!

Lovely stay with all the comforts!

Roberta's Place was perfect for our sisters trip to Flagstaff! No details missed, including lights and heater on before we arrived! The hosts are friendly and helpful and gave us great suggestions on things to do, including hiking Fat Mans Loop nearby! The couch was big and comfy, bed was comfy and all amenities were fully stocked - would absolutely stay again! Thank you!

Cozy stay in Flagstaff

The listing is exactly as described. The bed is very comfortable and the couch was comfy for sleeping on as well. The location is quiet. Our only snag was the code for check in was wrong so we had to wait outside for a while until we heard back with the correct code. Overall, it was a good experience and we would recommend this Roberta’s Place.

Flagstaff Getaway

We stayed at Roberta's place for 2 nights when we first arrived in Arizona! It was the perfect place! We loved it so much!!! It was clean, it was cute, spacious, had little extra things like candy, blankets, games, coffee! They even give you a welcome note and info if you need help! It was so cute and cozy and clean! Comfortable, Relaxing stay in the mountains

This apartment is well-provisioned with the perfect blend of interior decorating and open space for visitors' things. The full kitchen, comfortable bed, and nice shower made it a wonderful base for our stay in Flagstaff. Jacob and Gaby were the perfect hosts. There were 2 minor issues during our stay and they were very responsive to fix the problem. We loved hearing the story of how Jacob's mother's deep hospitality inspired their desire to honor her memory by welcoming travelers. It's not surprising that they have so many 5 star ratings on VRBO!

Quiet Getaway

Jacob and Gaby were the perfect hosts. They are very responsive and thoughtful with nice welcome gifts when we arrived! We felt welcome the minute we walked in the door. Robertas place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Everything was thought of to make our trip more enjoyable. We enjoyed our time in Flagstaff with some sightseeing. It is the perfect place celebrate a birthday and anniversary, spend the day out, then come back to a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere! The M&M machine was definitely a plus! Thank you again for sharing Robertas place with us!
