Our family enjoyed a wonderful time together at this gorgeous Vermont retreat. We lucked out with perfect weather (August 2026), which made it easy to make the most of both the outdoor and indoor areas of the property. The house is VERY spacious - though we didn't have any kids with us, we could see how easily this property could comfortably accommodate both adults and younger ones. Stylish, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, the Bridgewater house was a perfect base for our family to enjoy beautiful Vermont! We'd love to visit again in a different season, just to appreciate the variety of the stunning natural backdrop. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us - such a treat to have that time there!
Beautiful luxurious property just like the photos show. The house had everything you could possibly need. We loved the gorgeous spa bathroom with the sauna. Host was very responsive with questions. We couldn’t use the pool because of bad weather but we hope to come back one day and have another extended weekend here. Loved every minute of it.
We loved our weekend at this house. So much character and many comfortable accommodations for our group. The dining table for family meals and the massive couch in the living room were my favorite parts of our stay, along with the beautiful snowy views. Thank you for the opportunity to rent!

The description of luxurious country retreat was spot on! The luxury: spacious and clean kitchen with quality oven, stovetop and coffee maker; inground pool perfect for sunning and swimming with loungers and floats; great luxe seating in fireplaces living room; comfortable movie and game rooms; infrared sauna for ultimate relaxation! Location is quiet and private yet drivable to outdoor recreation like lazy river floating, as well as to restaurants, antiques, farmers markets, and the charm of small towns. Communication with host was clear and helpful. We stayed in the summer and hope to return next year!
As a family with teenagers on a ski week after the holidays, this truly lovely home could not have been a more perfect choice. There is room for everyone and everything: workspace, large and perfectly appointed kitchen, spacious dining, very comfortable beds, not to mention the rec room, movie theater and spa bathroom with sauna. The attention to detail, like the lighting and sound systems were appreciated, as well as the thoughtful and considered furnishings, and board games for family fun in front of the fire. We look forward to coming back in warm weather to try the pool and enjoy the beautiful outdoor property!
We can’t say enough great things about this property ! By far the best house we have ever booked ! There were 6 adults away for a girls trip weekend and it did not disappoint! The house is so spacious and CLEAN! The bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds, clean sheets, blankets and pillows ! The bathrooms were great and stocked . The master bathroom is amazing with huge walk in shower and red light therapy sauna ! The sauna was amazing ! The kitchen was huge with table for a large group . Appliances were top of the line . The pool was so enjoyable and has loungers and floats . We enjoyed a night by the fire pit with beautiful Adirondack chairs and seasoned wood available to use ! They did not miss a thing as far as needs for the house from toilet paper to fire starters and seasoned wood ! Wish we could have stayed longer - we will definitely be back !!! Thank you Andrea for an amazing weekend !!!
This house was amazing. The moment we walked in and saw the kitchen we knew it would be our spot for meals, games, and just hanging out. We loved the stained glass windows in the bedrooms, and the beds were so comfortable. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Incredible family room with the gorgeous fireplace. Plenty of room for all. Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony/deck. So much space for everyone. Anything and Everything you could need was there. Pool, firepit, and movie room all appreciated. Perfect location, private area, Andrea was the best, easy to communicate with, and quick responses. Everything you needed to know was in the book. Check in was simple. Check out was super easy. Loved the Maple Syrup - thank you. If in the area again, we would definately return. Thanks for a great long weekend. The Sisters. .
The property was in a lovely location and very clean. The "hot tub" turned out to be a jetted tub in one of the bathrooms and I'm not sure that was totally clear in the listing as it was one of the filters I applied when searching for a rental. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful and instructions were clear and easy to accommodate. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, though our group would have loved a small saucepan or two. The pool was very clean, as was the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
