Historic Log Cabin on a homestead!-Pet Friendly!

Experience the mountains of North Georgia at this full-time homestead! One of four historic cabins on our property, located just 10 minutes from Fort Mountain State Park, Carter's Lake, and the town of Chatsworth, 25 minutes from Ellijay, and 45 minutes from Blue Ridge. Come enjoy hiking, mountain biking, local history, or simply relax by the creek that borders the property. The hosts and their dogs are happy to let you enjoy your stay in peace, or to visit and tell you more about the area!

The cabin is set on an 8 acre property along with 3 other rental cabins all originally built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The hosts live on the property along with their friendly dogs. You'll likely see them working outside, whether it be in the garden, with the chickens, or tending to the goats.

Everything is easy to find in this cozy one story. The kitchen stocked with some essentials for cooking meals and a living room furnished for relaxation. The bedroom has a king bed and connects to a full bathroom.

The front porch looks out on the back section of woods, and while two of the three other cabins are visible from the porch, there is a unique sense of privacy.

Loved everything!!

The cabin was clean and beautiful! Our plan was to visit Ellijay and Ellijay Mushrooms, so the cabin was only about a 30 minute drive from there. We will definitely recommend this place and book again! It was a quiet and peaceful weekend getaway. Thank y’all again!! Hollie

Cabin was very clean and had special touches like condiments in the fridge. We had all the kitchen stuff we needed. There was extra reading items available. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of clean towels, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the visits we had from the chickens.

Wonderful getaway with the best hostess ever

We were just getting away for a two-day trip, and our hostess was SOOOOOO helpful when we flubbed our reservations and then forgot our pillows. I can't thank her enough for her kindness. AND the cabin is WONDERFUL! It was so unusual for us -- we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rain and watching the funny chickens...and everything.

Perfect weekend

Everything about this stay was amazing. The cabin was clean and beautiful and so quiet. There was a sweet orange cat asleep on the porch when got there and he visited several times over the weekend. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Super relaxing

This was a great place to stay for my birthday. It was close enough to different cities we could drive to. We went to Chattanooga! This cabin was a great place to come back to and relax after a long day of festivities.
