Fantastic Rental!
We will definitely be back. House was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We loved the setting on the horse farm. Took a walk down to the river. Visited the horses and dogs. Loved the fire-pit area. It was so secluded and peaceful. Thank you to Lisa!

Horse Farm
We had a terrific visit at the horse farm. Had more than enough room for everyone. Hostess was great and friendly. We enjoyed horse rides and just being out in the country. We highly recommend this property if you want to disconnect from daily hassles for a few days.

Lovely getaway
We stayed at the property for two night to visit JMU, which is about 25 minutes away. There was ample space for 5 people with three bedrooms and two full baths. The convenience of having a washer/dryer was great and the house was clean. There were plenty of dishes and mugs, but a coffee pot would be a nice addition. Lisa was very responsive and a very sweet hostess! The horses and dogs were a nice bonus! Bring carrots if you want to feed them!

Nice gateway property 25 mins from the resort
Very nice relaxing property with beautiful horses. Could not heat up the grill well (something was wrong with It) and not enough hot water (could use a bigger water heater) would be the only two things that we were able to survive withouts, oh plus a coffee machine. All things considered we had a great time at the property.

Hello, I'm Lisa, your host. I am a full-time horse trainer and dog breeder. This farm is my home with my boyfriend, Kenny. This farm is home to quarter horses, several labs, goldens, a Bernese mountain dog and a pug, and a goat. As a professional horse trainer, I offer riding lessons and trail rides on the farm. Also, longer rides in the mountains with small groups are available. I enjoy meeting new people and making friends with all. Hosting this Airbnb allows wonderful opportunity for both!
