The 30 square meter 1-room apartment is fully and tastefully furnished. It is light and quiet.
There is a kitchenette with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc.
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a shower and toilet.
A double bed is available for sleeping.
For entertainment there is television with cable connection, as well as Internet via WLAN.
There is a washing machine in the basement.
From a large balcony there is a wonderful view to the south of Black Forest and Schönberg.

The closest tram stop is a 5-minute walk away. The train goes directly to Freiburg city center in 9 minutes.

The apartment is located in the now internationally known district of Vauban. The district was built with ecological considerations in mind. All houses use little energy. Vauban has no traffic.

Shops and facilities for daily needs are in the immediate vicinity, as well as green clasps with playgrounds, sports fields, a nature-conserving stream, a large and well-run restaurant on the market square. After 5 min. One is on foot below the Schönberg "in nature".

The apartment is on the 4th Floor (accessible via an elevator).
It is located in a so-called passive house. This means that the room temperature is always pleasant and the used air is exchanged on its own, even when the windows are closed.

Beautiful flat in a cool sustainable neighbourhood

The flat is gorgeous, with a good selection of utensils, toiletries, laundry facilities, etc. The neighbourhood is a really cool sustainable community and the neighbours were all friendly and quiet. Andreas was an incredibly helpful and kind host. Easily my favourite stop on a long trip!

Comfortable apartment in Vauban

We stayed in Andreas' apartment a second time this summer. It is in a beautiful, quiet and safe location. The apartment is well-furnished and very comfortable. There is a nice balcony where you can enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Andreas is very responsive.

Very nice flat

I booked it for family that was visiting me in Freiburg. The neighborhood is very charming, such as the property manager. The check-in went smoothly and the flat is perfect. All the needed kitchen tools are there, the bathroom is very modern and the view is also very enjoyable. I highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay in Freiburg/Vauban

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks. Andreas is an excellent host who responds quickly and is very helpful. The apartment is in an excellent location, with public transportation easily accessible. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was very hot in Freiburg, but there was a large fan that kept us cool. We plan to return!

Wir haben das Apartment für drei Nächte genutzt und es in einem sehr ordentlichen Zustand hinterlassen. Direkt nach unserer Abreise bedankte sich der Gastgeber sogar ausdrücklich dafür, dass wir das Apartment so sauber und ordentlich hinterlassen hatten.Einige Tage später erhielten wir jedoch völlig unerwartet die Mitteilung, dass Kissenbezüge und Bettwäsche nach unserem Aufenthalt vergilbt und nicht mehr waschbar seien. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es in Freiburg außergewöhnlich warm, und auch nachts lag die Temperatur im Schlafzimmer deutlich über 20 C. Dass man unter solchen Bedingungen beim Schlafen etwas schwitzt, ist völlig normal.Besonders enttäuschend finden wir, dass für die behauptete Beschädigung keinerlei Fotos oder sonstige Nachweise vorgelegt wurden. Auch die geforderte Summe erscheint uns angesichts der angeblich beschädigten Textilien völlig unverhältnismäßig und steht aus unserer Sicht in keinem nachvollziehbaren Verhältnis zu dem behaupteten Schaden.Die nachträgliche Schadensforderung und insbesondere die Art und Weise, wie damit umgegangen wurde, haben unseren Gesamteindruck vom Aufenthalt erheblich verschlechtert. Auch den anschließenden Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber haben wir als wenig konstruktiv empfunden.Wir würden diese Unterkunft aufgrund dieser Erfahrung nicht erneut buchen.

Hier unsere Sicht der Dinge: Nachdem wir die Bettbezüge unseres Gastes gewaschen hatten, stellten wir fest, dass diese gelbe Verfärbungen hatten. Wir haben die Bettbezüge gebleicht, noch einmal heiß gewaschen, aber die gelbe Färbung blieb. (Später haben wir festgestellt, dass auch zwei Handtücher gelb verfärbt waren.) Deswegen können wir diese Bettbezüge, die qualitativ hochwertig sind, nicht mehr gebrauchen. Wir haben den Gast deswegen angeschrieben. Als wir keine Antwort erhielten, haben wir über das Portal den Schaden gemeldet. Daraufhin behauptete unser Gast, er hätte nun mal geschwitzt, weil es so heiß war. Außerdem behauptete unser Gast, wir würden diesen Vorgang benutzen, um uns auf diese Weise neue Bettwäsche zu finanzieren. Als wir dann Fotos der „verschwitzten“ Wäsche vorlegten, schrieb der Gast, es würde sich um „beliebige“ Fotos handeln. Es ist für uns als Gastgeber kaum zu verstehen, dass uns hier unterstellt wird, wir würden unsere Gäste betrügen ...

Wie soll man absolute Zufriedenheit in allen Punkten beschreiben? Die Wohnung ist luxuriös, fast besser als auf der Plattform beschrieben. Sie liegt herrlich und ist bestens ausgestattet, in ihr haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die nächste Haltestelle der Tram ist nur fünf Gehminuten entfernt, das Zentrum von Freiburg wiederum 15 Minuten mit der Tram. Vauban ist ein sehr grüner und freundlicher Stadtteil, der viele Wege aufweist. Er ist so autofrei wie möglich, was uns den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Herr Venzke ist ein äußerst sympathischer Mensch, wir hatten die Freude, ihn vor der Abreise kennenzulernen. Seine Kommunikation vor und während unseres Urlaubs war einfach fantastisch! Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Im nächsten Jahr werden wir bestimmt zurückkehren.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Schöner Balkon, Badezimmer, kleine aber feine Küche, viele kuschlige Decken und Kissen im Bett. Die Balkonsolaranlage hat uns sehr gut gefallen und vor allem auch der Stadtteil Vauban, der sehr ruhig und grün ist :)
